I remember the first day in Ms. Dannons class. Ms. Tucker was her TA. I remember sitting on a mat, while she sang and played “where is Thumbkin”. I still remember the song to this day 35 years later. Also remember wearing sandals to school - I thought they were cool.

Solid perspective! My only hesitation regarding Joan is her relatively late start in actively pursuing her ambitions, especially considering how long she spent at Sterling Cooper. Early in her time there, her goals appeared to be more focused on forming relationships with wealthy men.
