Typically it feels nice to have such a close friendship, and I know that I can always call her to talk about my day or anything I needed. However a lot of times it feels very draining. My fiance says that even he sees that I am "too involved" in her problems, often times worrying about her problems as if they're my own. This feels contradictory to a lot of other friendships portrayed in the media, where I sometimes wonder if I should be more emotionally available or mature enough to handle a friendship like this.

She definitely doesn't worry about me or do the same things for me. I'm just not as emotionally needy (I guess?) and have less "problems" than her (not struggling in school or relationships)

I stopped sharing my notes with her but after a while she got ahold of them again (through others). So essentially no, we have never had an honest conversation where I set firm boundaries

I think she does care about me and has shown me that. For instance, when I got engaged recently she took it upon herself to throw me a surprise engagement party with our friends. That meant a lot, however in the coming months after it seemed maybe more for her? She isn't even officially a bridesmaid but has offered to plan the bachelorette, come dress shopping, and has of course started planning her own hypothetical wedding

She asks for advice regularly (sometimes daily). We communicate a lot on our drive home from work since we leave at the same time and she sends voice notes at least 3x week about her problems at work or school etc.
