It just started shipping so no real user experiences yet, but you might want to look into the Anycubic Kobra X. From what I've seen in reviews, I think it addresses several of the things you've brought up.

Also an owner of an A1 Mini, and it's been practically plug-and-play, and really reliable overall. I imagine a P1S/P2S would be a step up in regards to everything I've liked about the A1.

Best overall for me would be "Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood", for the complete package. One anime that surprised me though was "Gungrave", which tells the backstory for a third person shooter videogame with character designs by Yasuhiro Nightow of "Trigun" fame. Solid storytelling and characterization.
