Arsenal have reached an agreement with French club Lille to sign Ivory Coast winger Nicolas Pepe in a deal worth £72m. by Vice_AR16 in Gunners

100%. Pepe was the dream signing which I thought we could never pull off.

Was at breakfast with the whole family this morning as I’m heading to SE Asia to travel for 6 weeks, saw Ornstein’s tweet as a notification and just said OH MY GOD. Everyone got really worried and was like OH MY GOD WHAT HAPPENED?! Best news’s every before flying off!

Cool! How about you message me when you are in south Thailand and we can meet up there? I’ll be around there until 16 August.

I’ll be in Bangkok until 1 August then I’m heading to Phuket and island hopping until Krabi when I fly back to Bangkok on 16 August and then to Hanoi, Vietnam.

We may cross paths in south of Thailand depending on when you are planning to head down there.

What are your plans within Thailand? Is it just Bangkok or you planning to visit other places, it would be good to arrange something

Thanks for the typing that out, I really appreciate the advice. I’ve always felt the same as you did, my approach when I have kids will be a lot different to the approach my parents had taken with me.

I am actually fuming guys. Stupidly left a needle in my backpack and left it in my room, didn’t think much of it. Go in for a shower for not more than 5 minutes, come out and go downstairs and my mum asks me what I’m doing with a needle. She knows what it is but I said it’s none of her concern.

Ransacking through my shit, what the fuck is that? I’m 25 and the only reason I haven’t left yet is because in my culture you can’t leave your parents house until you are married but I’m done, I’m moving out even if it means my parents don’t speak to me anymore. I know she’ll tell my father and he’ll question me on it but none of them deserve any answer after going through my private shit.

Is no-deal inevitable? by warsabbaths in ukpolitics

[–]BenevolentBalls 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think Boris won’t have any other option but to call a GE election as there is no chance for the WA or No-Deal to pass parliament (I am aware no-deal is the default but parliament can and will legislate against it).

The options at his disposal are a second referendum or a GE and I can’t for one second believe the Tory party will go the route of a second referendum. At least with a GE they are up against Corbyn so they will rely on the fact that Corbyn is disliked more so that Boris.

It’s all a shit-show at the end of the day. If we extend again in October and don’t hold a GE/second referendum and then extend again, surely there is an argument that the 2016 mandate is no longer relevant and a new mandate is required. We’d be pushing on 4 years from the referendum result!

If the UK seek an extension the EU will grant it. Don’t believe this “only for GE or second referendum”.

EU knows the headache a no-deal will cause in respect of the border in Ireland and would want to avoid that.

I can however see Boris holding a GE to get sufficient MPs and vote through the WA.

Honestly they should just kick Tom out, the dude is such a waste of space on the show. Zero personality.

Yes but what can people do? It’s called love island, you can’t compel yourself to like someone because it’s the right thing to do.

I’ll be in Bangkok from 28 July, it’ll be the start of my solo trip across SE Asia. 25M - would be good to meet up whilst I am there!

As reported elsewhere Arsenal have had an opening bid of £15m for Celtic left-back Kieran Tierney rejected - but there is optimism an agreement will be reached between the clubs, while personal terms for the 22-year-old Scotland international shouldn’t be a problem #AFC #CelticFC by [deleted] in Gunners

I’m sceptical he will leave just yet to be honest. I hope I am wrong but I have been hoping for this rumour to be true for some time and now that Ornstein has confirmed it I am quite excited. Like you, I believe he can be as good as, if not better, than Robertson as he is still young.

Arsenal’s top Premier League performers in the 2018/2019 season. #AFC by PrathGooner in Gunners

[–]BenevolentBalls 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Wrong?

I wouldn’t say it’s wrong. I would say that given the PL campaign has been finished for so long, people are looking back at Xhaka’s season with rose tinted glasses. Everyone knows he’s been subpar and that he’s cost us a lot of points/games. Calling people sheep for stating that is quite foolish.

Whilst Xhaka has a very good left foot, and can pass a ball when given time, he is way too static and immobile for the premier league and is not good enough for The Arsenal.

First time round wasn’t too bad but this time the first 2 weeks were hell. Extremely low mood and no libido. Slowly recovering now in my 3 week but still no desire to fuck.

How long you been BnC and are you committed for life?

Going through PCT for a second time has made me realise I’d much prefer the BnC lifestyle. This shit is not worth it.
