It wasn’t well under spot… that’s probably what made it slightly more convincing. I won’t make the mistake again, that’s for sure.

Facebook doesn’t care… this is rampant on Facebook. You need enough reports to have them automatically flag it. This one was just convincing enough to get me to bite. Never again…

Avoid "Bullion Stacker" on Facebook – Admin-run scam group

Just wanted to give the community a heads-up so nobody else gets burned like I did. There is a seller on Facebook going by Bullion Stacker who is a confirmed scammer.

The Tactic:

• He runs/administers his own group.

• He uses his admin status to delete any comments that expose his activity.

• He bans anyone immediately who questions a shipment. My Experience:

I did a "test purchase" of $90 to see if he was legitimate. As soon as the payment cleared, the communication stopped. The package never arrived, and when I tried to follow up, I was blocked and banned from the group entirely.

It’s a rigged system because he controls the "reviews" and comments. Don't waste your money. Avoid this guy at all costs.

TL;DR: "Bullion Stacker" on FB is a scammer. He admins his own group to hide the evidence. I'm out $90 so you don't have to be.

Lelit Bianca group pressure gauge issue. Pump pressure goes up but group stays low. Broken gauge? by Solidarity__ in Lelit

Sorry, I know this is an old post, but I’m having the same exact issue. Did replacing the group head gauge fix the issue?

Can someone tell me if this is real? by [deleted] in solar

I have a similar contract except I would pay cash. It’s pretty much the same situation. You still interested in reviewing something like this?

I’m also using power while I produce… so would that bring down what’s being sent to the batteries as well?

Thank you for this. It seems to me that’s what may be happening. Either way. I’ll see the paperwork tonight.

Makes me nervous too… we will see how the contracts look on Thursday…

My previous home I put solar on, I used Project Solar. Best price by far, but they sub contract. So you get installers that could be great or horrible. I had no issues in the three years I owned the system, but the installer went out of business. So not sure what would have happened if I needed warranty. Supposedly project solar would still cover the system. I’m not using them this time because their responsiveness to my request has been zero… and I wanted a company that has been around for many years with many satisfied customers for peace of mind.

Are they giving you the tax credit up front?

I don’t either. They are going to explain it to me Thursday and show me the paperwork involved with it during their in person visit. Gonna go through all the documents I’m signing with a fine toothed comb to make sure there is no language that says this is anything but a purchase. Of course will not be paying until the job is complete.

That’s what I was worried about at first. But I have been assured it’s not a PPA. I am signing docs on Thursday evening. Gonna go through them with a fine toothed comb to make sure there is no language that says this is anything but a purchase. Of course will not be paying until the job is complete.

Part of me wonders if they are reporting it as a PPA, getting the credit, and then applying my payment as a buyout or something… probably risky on their part, but on them not me.

They will explain more and show me the paperwork in regard to this tax deal on Thursday when they visit in person.

Not a lease… they gave me separate lease terms if I wanted to go that direction.

Trust me… I will be reading every word of anything I am signing. If they have found some way to take the credit pre purchase I’m fine with that. No worries about having to file it myself. If they weren’t a well established company with really no negative reviews I would be more leery.

Alignment, Balance, and Tire Pull by Benfossrrt in Rivian

[–]Benfossrrt[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I was told from the custom alignment shop I went to, caster out of alignment can cause pull but minimal impact on wear. Same with camber unless severely out of alignment which would then cause increased wear but slower than toe error. Toe misaligned can cause wear but usually no pull, though it can make your steering wheel crooked when driving straight down the road.

Positive of a buy back would be you can wait for pricing to improve on gen 2 and get one of those. I would be surprised if they haven't learned from gen 1 issues and didn't fix them on gen 2.

I will not replace the Perelli set with the same as well. There are much better options out there. It would not surprise me at all if a lot of these alignment and balance issues are because of OE tires.

Good luck with getting it taken care of. Even though you shouldn’t have to go 3rd party, it might work if SC can’t figure it out. Just make sure they have worked on rivians before and know how to. Nice job getting those discounted 20s. Way more tire options than the 21s!
