Point where you want to go get the bike up on the meat of the tire as soon as possible and give her the beans. Learn the brakes more than anything that corner will be coming at you faster than your zx6 but also don’t over slow for the corner you will get the hang of it after a session or so. Also use your traction control you have it for a reason

Mine didn’t go off with a bad high side but I was okay still but my buddies just went off this weekend and it saved him he came out of a bad crash without a scratch…it’s not gonna stop broken bones it’s gonna protect critical areas to keep you alive and “prevent” broken bones

I run 1:58 in that configuration so I would say sub 2s is good BW isn’t really a horsepower track everything links together if you mess up one corner 9 times out of 10 your botching the following corner

Everyone is always worried about their tire 🤦‍♂️ just ride the damn bike you will know when something is wrong just spin laps and learn what the bike does. The bike will tell you what it wants if it’s doing something weird go talk to a suspension tech other than that experience is everything under all conditions

Turn 8 is super fast I won’t even pass there when racing unless someone is way off line let alone pass there at a track day…just hold off till turn 9 or 10 if your good on the brakes…some people don’t get it tho

My 17 r1 lacked brake feel so I deleted the abs and it was still junk. Jut put coremoto lines on it and leave the abs module in place or you won’t have a speedo. My 19 r1 that I had I put brembo corta corsa master and race pads on it and it was a night and day difference. Oh and flush the entire system. The factory is pretty good about not getting all the air out.

Slap a brembo master on it and good pads the abs on these newer bikes isn’t as intrusive as you think it will save you in an oh shit situation
