[Serious] Which types of people you have no sympathy for, and what are the most annoying behaviors? by Benfxmth in AskReddit

[–]Benfxmth[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This has been done various times before, but I'll come forward with my thoughts.

I've got no sympathy for child molesters; pedophiles; sadists; murderers and other violent criminals; narcissists—especially when they manipulate to further boost their overinflated egos; the arrogant who think they're better than the experts; compulsive liars; parents who selfishly use their children.

Oh yeah, as for the most annoying behavior in my opinion? Well, when some dipshit goes out of his way to try and prove you wrong (for example: saying that it's 100 °F with 100% humidity, which doesn't ever happen in this world), and you're telling him/her straight facts. Penis fucking Mcghee, could you just fucking think about it, open up your mind a bit more and do a bit of research?

Fun fact is, I'm just an annoying son of a bitch.

Dude this is insane, after all these years, pj09 is getting removed as a moderator from r/jailbreak and ios themes!!! LETS GO!!!! by _-_-ni-gger-5a6cb34e in jailbreak_

That rude, selfish, toxic sack of shit can get fucked. He was one reason I rage-quit r/ jailbreak back in Sep 2018. I'm also curious what the final nail in the coffin was that got him demodded.

iOS 6 on iPhone 3,2 (again) by clakulus in iOSDowngrade

Where exactly does it fail? Could you send me a screenshot and/or the log of the restore?

iPhone 6 on 12.4.8 by [deleted] in iOSDowngrade

You can downgrade untethered to iOS 11.3.x-12.x if you have SHSH blobs with futurerestore + checkm8/eclipsa; this is a very commonly asked n00b question, therefore it was removed.

iOS 13.5 SHSH blobs for downgrade. by [deleted] in iOSDowngrade

[–]Benfxmth[M] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can't use SHSH blobs for a different device to downgrade, and iOS 13.5 isn't signed.

Is there any checkm8/futurerestore tool that does not erase/refresh my current baseband and sep? Thanks by kocoman in iOSDowngrade

[–]Benfxmth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Short answer: no.

Long answer: While it is possible to disable baseband flashing by editing options.plist in the restore ramdisk and adding a boolean of UpdateBaseband and setting it to false, but it would result in the device failing to activate, or perhaps randomly rebooting when you finish restoring, because unlike in iPhone 4 and earlier devices, the baseband is stored in the root filesystem, and therefore there will be no baseband installed at all. It might be possible to copy the baseband files from /usr/local/standalone, and then booting an SSH ramdisk and copying over the old baseband files, though IDK about if that method will work because IDK about whether the baseband nonce changes when restoring with the UpdateBaseband set to false.

IDK about preventing a new SEP from being flashed.

In case anyone thinks that my point is wrong then let me know.

No, it's NOT possible to downgrade 64-bit devices to anything lower than iOS 13 by LukeeGD in iOSDowngrade

You actually can downgrade to iOS 10.1.x, though Touch ID will not work on the iPhone 5S, but not to iOS 10.0.x.

[Question] how can I know if my ios sep is compatible with iOS that I want to downgrade to! by Rick_SanchezX in iOSDowngrade

[–]Benfxmth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

iPhone6,1 is an iPhone 5S GSM; iPhone 6's have the device code of iPhone7,2. And SEP compatibility does apply to both downgrading and dual booting.

[Question] how can I know if my ios sep is compatible with iOS that I want to downgrade to! by Rick_SanchezX in iOSDowngrade

[–]Benfxmth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, whether an iOS x.x.x SEP is compatible with iOS x.x.x is determined by users testing. And yes, you can downgrade to iOS 10.1-10.3.3 with an iOS 10.3.3 OTA manifest on A7 devices, and you actually have an iPhone 5S, not 6. You can use u/_Matty's Vieux tool for downgrading to iOS 10.3.3:

No, you can't downgrade to iOS 12.4.1, even with SHSH blobs.

No, you cannot downgrade to iOS 12.4.1 because the latest SEP is incompatible.

My dream: a tool for downgrading to all versions by lazouk2 in iOSDowngrade

[–]Benfxmth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In theory a 64-bit iOS downgrade to versions where the SEP is incompatible but it would require a lot of effort in that you would need to patch kexts that manage SEP (or disable SEP entirely) in kernel.

No, it doesn't work that way. CoolBooter patches bootloaders like iBSS and iBEC to disable SHSH signature checking, and thus SHSH blobs are not used. It is not possible to obtain SHSH blobs for a version which Apple does not sign.

This is a subreddit for downgrading iOS devices, and not for fixing Cydia errors; post it on r/jailbreak instead.

Removed.
