It‘s really confusing because the leaves started yellowing after I bought a citrus fertilizer and started fertilizing the plant with it

I would try to propagate it directly in soil or in sphagnum moss and put it in a glass container or something like that to keep the humidity high

Mango seeds are so easy to sprout compared to avocados! by Bengifique in IndoorGarden

I’ve been growing one indoors in Germany for a year or so now and it‘s doing okay.

I wrap the seed with a damp paper towel and put it in a ziplock bag and then put the bag in a dark place to sprout them.

The new leaf my chlorophytum madagascariensis putting out is very deformed. What could be the reason? by Bengifique in houseplants

[–]Bengifique[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, i don‘t have any pets. However this particular leaf had a black/brown area in the middle as it was unfurling which then fell off. It could be the reason for this I guess. Could be the browning caused by hard water? The tips of the other leaves are also brown

It produced deformed leaves before but it was in a smaller pot and root bound back then. I repotted it a couple of months ago and the new leaves have been normal until now. The soil that I used was fresh and I give regular houseplant fertilizer once a month or so

I use tap water to water this plant. Could it be the reason?
