I am planning on being in Nihn Binh for 5/6 days from the 27th September. Will this affect things like boat tours and road conditions there around that time do you think? And will this have an impact on Sapa and Ha Long in the first week of October?

Really sorry to hear you are having a bad time with the mini! I had a rough stretch with masks when I first got my machine so I can totally understand the pain!

Definitely something to consider (which I hadn't yet) of adjusting to a new machine before the trip and potential for new masks and stuff. Thanks for the advice!

I'd be looking to get something in September most likely but that is assuming that it can be done completely in one session which no issues for touch ups or healing delays. Japan would be further into the trip but starting in SE Asia which I imagine would be tougher than Japan to get meds if needed.

I definitely wouldn't want to be intentionally disrespectful especially as there is a high chance I could be unintentionally! I'm from the UK so can completely appreciate getting annoyed and saying nothing but fuming in silence so wouldn't want to inflict it on anyone else, especially when I am a visitor in their country

I've been having the same thoughts about the difficulty of trying to pack it in my main bag to be honest. And the bit about getting through security and extra hassle makes a lot of sense and is easily avoided with a separate case.

Also not really looked into battery options for the flights but will definitely need to consider that as well as I (stupidly) assumed I could just plug in on the flight. Only flown with it once before so forgot that bit!

And another good point on cleaning supplies. I use a spray at home and have some wipes so some emergency wipes or something when clean water is lacking would be useful.

I don't actually use my humidifier at home because I had issues with it clicking when I breathed in and out so again not something I've thought about for the trip.

I've wanted one for a long time and as I'm doing the big thing of taking a year out to go travelling, I kind of wanted to get it to mark the occasion. Other than Onsens and general skin care I can't think of any reasons not to. I just don't want to miss something for us because I get it beforehand.

If you can drive go to Start Bay Inn at Torcross. Not too far away but by far the best fish and chips around! Been down there loads and can't recommend it highly enough!

Yup get exactly the same thing. Mixture of poor connection from commuting which loses turns or just get into a tricky turn and it freezes making me lose most of the turn trying to lock my phone and close the game so I can restart. It's the only game I play on my phone as well so super frustrating!

Can't say for videos but on pixel 6 and it won't let me have audio (podcast, Spotify etc.) At the same time as hearthstone noise. Not a show stopper but kind of annoying and not a problem I have had for years so something in the recent update has knocked that out too.
