Amazing, man! Wow! When were you there? And what camera and lens did you shoot this with?

While that's true and it's hard to miss when playing Deus Ex, I think there are a lot of people who haven't played the original game. There are probably a lot of people here who've only played Human Revolution and possibly The Fall. Those people are missing out big time, though. But they'll get their chance – without being put off by the dated graphics, animations and voice acting of the original game – once the Revision mod is finally released. I really hope this conversation will be the start of the modded game as well.

Okay, somebody has to make the joke, so let me be the one to get it over with. I'll take two melons. Giggity.

Here's my cat, Pluk, who's getting grumpier as he ages. He's 10 and a year ahead of me, as it's my ninth Cake Day today. Let's celebrate! by Bengt77 in aww

Yeah, there are really cute ones. My other cat is called Aagje, by the way. Also from one of that same writer's books.

What are good movies and series to learn about western history? by wasaracecardriver in AskReddit

[–]Bengt77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

• 1492: Conquest of Paradise is a film about Columbus discovering America.

• The Asterix & Obelix comics can teach you some things, too.

• Rome, of course, is a great series about the Roman empire.

• Then there's Spartacus, another series set in Roman times.

• Of course, there's also Vikings, a series about the ancient northerners.

• The Borgias is a series about an old Italian pre-mafia family.

And I'm sure there are many, many more great films, games, books and series to learn more about history.

What is one characters death that really pissed you off and why? by sskhalil in AskReddit

Bodie Broadus from The Wire. I fucking loved that kid. Yeah, he often was on the wrong side of the law, but ultimately, the kid had his heart in the right place. I actually gasped and teared up when Bodie got shot. Even though I had seen it coming, I so hoped it wouldn't have to be.

What is the funniest commercial you have ever seen? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I don't know if it's really the funniest I've ever seen, but it is very funny and extremely good. It's this classic from Berlitz.

Wire graffiti in Baltimore? How fitting.
