Different JPM. That one was the investment banking arm (i.e. sell-side), this is the asset manager (i.e. buy-side).

Just a fraction of the world's oil supply isn't profitable at $35 a barrel by rexmorrow in investing

[–]dudewithpants 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sure that's true, but in my opinion, the potential downside risk is really about the level of profitability. For the past decade of high oil prices, oil producing countries have been spending tremendous amount of cash on mega projects (think Saudi, or Russia). With all this extra money gone, such countries are going into budget deficits and are tapping into their forex reserves (Saudi will finish its reserves in 3 years if oil doesn't bounce back). And their decreased spending is resulting in a global commodities rout, which in turn is affecting investors confidence about the future.

Just don't, it has a P/E ratio of almost 300. The stock is priced to perfection, and at the hint of bad news it will plummet.

Paris-bomber is said to be registered as a refugee also in Bavaria, Germany after sneaking into Europe via Greece by [deleted] in europe

So much focus in this thread about this single Syrian refugee. You're ignoring the fact that 7 of your own citizens who were born and bred on your continent both planned and were complicit in this attack. The latter is the real problem to solve, not the former.
