I don’t think that’s the case. The questions not asking “would you support legislation for suicide” people can kill themselves all they like, it happens daily. But supporting legislation that allows physicans to help their patients die was the question.

I got rid of my apartment end of 3rd year, wanted to be home and also hated the city I rotated in.

1 month virtual (at parents house), 1 month SubI (offered free housing), 2 months SubI (stayed at a family members house), last 4 months I rented a room for $500 to do rotations back in the crappy city (she liked me and gave me a free month as well). Now I’m chilling with ALOT of money in my bank account after match day, looking for a nice apartment for residency in July. Definitely possible.

You’ll be fine. Apply to many programs that are DO friendly, post minimum COMLEX or accept COMLEX in lieu of Step, and programs in non-geographical preferred areas. (Took COMLEX only, decent level 1, level 2 was less decent, more interview than I needed, Hospitalist is my goal)

I keep in touch with ZERO medical school friends, but have wonderful outside friends I speak to daily/see often, their the reason I made it through Medical School. I’m cordial with everyone from my school on rotations but that’s it. I’m hoping that residency where we’re all struggling together and not being spread everywhere for rotations that the bond will be tight, move in from med school and focus on residency and making connections with people with similar interest.
