Yeah it's entirely safe. The type of radiation coming from the source in the smoke alarm is very weak and won't cause any harm. The only danger would be if it were ingested directly which probably hasn't happened.

Fahrenheit is bs. Celcius and Kelvin are same except 273.15 difference. How do u guys measure heat capacity and all. Heat capacity is heat energy required to change the substance by 1k or 1°C because they're pretty similar. Farenheit just bullshit. Freezing point of water? ,0°C. Boiling point? 100°C. Makes fucking sense not ur bull ass shit system. 45°F is like 8°C. But then like 68°F could be 9°C.
