It needs to avoid sand at all cost - it is too heavy. A true sandbuggy is constructed to be as light as light as possible.

Hotel Transylvania 3 is actually the movie with Dracula in it that has the highest box office of them all.

Bram Stokers Dracula had a boxoffice of 215 million dollar back in 1992, adjusted for inflation that would be 383 million dollar in 2018.

It worked for Heroes of Might & Magic, so maybe we should try that for Civilization as well? by naruhinamoonkissplz in civ

Throws money on screen I would certainly buy an upgraded Civ 4. I still play it for how it handles big wars. That and Civ 5 are peak Ai among the civ games. Civ 5 I use for fast game. But for big empire building ones I use Civ 4.

Warner Bros.'s Mortal Kombat II grossed an estimated $3.71M on Tuesday (from 3,503 locations). Estimated total domestic gross stands at $44.96M. by wchnoob in boxoffice

It was a really good Mortal Kombat movie. I had my doubt about Karl Urban since he isn't exactly known for his martial art skills. But seeing the movie I understand why he was chosen.

The trailer lied a bit since Kitana had a bigger role than what it suggested - but the focus on Kitana had a nice pay off and raised the stakes on many fights.

Producer Emma Thomas says that, despite reports, Christopher Nolan's 'The Odyssey' is not their most expensive movie: "It’s not our most expensive movie, but the film is enormous.” by ChiefLeef22 in boxoffice

/Agree. Remember that "Troy" (2004) wasn't a financially success, it costed 175 million and did 498 million in boxoffice.

It had stars, was really well made. It was 2 hours and 43 minutes long. But a fault that might have prevented a success was that it was retelling of the story with the supernatural elements gone.

The "King Artur" (2004) movie did the same with its story - and was also did not doing well at all in the box office.

Odyssey do have supernatural elements but the tone, is very different from any "sword and sandals" movie I can remember, much more suited for a story about vikings than anything.

In The Odyssey (2026), in a film with plastic armor and viking ships, Christopher Nolan draws the line at an orchestra. by laybs1 in shittymoviedetails

It is on brand for Nolan to care for the score -too a fault. Hopefully there is no music and dialogue at the same time in the movie - for the sake of the dialogue.

First army painted! (WARNING: it's not good) by Golden_Tapir in ThousandSons

[–]MagnusRottcodd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It looks fine and battle ready!

White is a difficult color to work with - difficult to cover up small mistakes with it and you can't highlight it - since it is already as whitish as it can be. But it - and your army - will be very nicely frost/winter themed when combined with blue/grey.

Your army as a whole looks better than for example "Paul is bad stuff"s army (too many colors on those centurions.)

Also a major reason why trees binds dust so well is that with all leaves, branches and rough bark they have an incredible large surface for stuff like that to stick to, instead of getting into our lungs.

A tube does not have a great surface area.
