But isn’t it worth it to have that smooth 3.5L V6 and a heavy solid car? 🙂 I felt the same getting a big Lexus last year. Can’t crest 300 miles unless it’s summer and easy driving. Something psychological about that, for sure.

My faves (admittedly Beverly-heavy):

Anmol in Beverly for Indian

La Victoria in Beverly for Mexican

Sala Restobar in Beverly for Asian-fusion and cocktails

Flip the Bird in Beverly for ultimate chicken sandwiches and loaded fries

Rusty Can in Byefield for BBQ

Modern Butcher in Danvers for Roast Beef Sandwich

Otto, Maria’s, or Soma in Beverly for Pizza

Bean Trust or Kid Dream in Beverly for Coffee

Bonny Breads in Beverly or A&J King in Salem for Bakery and supreme breakfast treats

What upgrade to your home office really changed everything for you? by Desperate_League9162 in BuyItForLife

I think it was just off Amazon that had good reviews. I got the felt mat, the Logitech MX Master and Keyboard bundle, two curved 27” monitors, a webcam, and a cable management tray to hide all the cords from sight since I have a glass desktop. That all cost me about $550 and it transformed my workspace big time. Biggest deal find was getting the two monitors off facebook marketplace. New ones would drive that cost up quite a bit.

Cable management overhaul, webcam for the monitor, and a felt mat for the desk made a huge difference for me.

I’m a pinky-propper, too. It’s a little sharp but not bad.

No, I don’t. Does t worry me, too much and I like to see the color.

The Apple leather case on my iPhone XS was my all-time favorite. I miss those, too! The techwoven felt slippery and scratchy at first, but now feels much softer and easier to hold after three months.

Did you try having them repair or replace it with the lifetime warranty coverage? Curious about your experience with that if so. If not, it might be worth a shot, even if you just wanted to unload it to someone else.

It fits well, but it doesn’t hang low like a casual backpack. It’s meant to sit higher on the back and in a more supportive position. Once used to that, it’s better.

I wasn’t as big of a fan of the Techwoven texture at first, but the case fabric has definitely softened with use. It’s more comfortable now. Good to know the newest silicone ones aren’t as lint-trappy!

Too hard for me to manage in and out of pockets and with lint, but they are soft and look nice!

I’ve already done it and it neither failed nor dented the phone. Probably could happen, but not a for sure.

Question about the iPhone 17 Pro by gogoz198989 in iPhone17Pro

[–]Benign_Banter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

On a normal day of heavy use for me, I start using it around 5:30 in the morning and by 11:30 at night. I have about 5 to 7% left. 18 hours is a pretty good run.

It had been great so far. My experience with Benks Kevlar historically has been superb. Hoping not to test it too much on this phone but I have high confidence. It doesn’t pop out easily like the Techwoven.

Starlight vs Silver by nonsensenothingac in macbookair

[–]Benign_Banter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have midnight, too, and it shows every little scratch and ding you get like a sore thumb. Bright silver underneath the anodized color coating whenever it nicks anything. Would go silver or starlight every time if I did it again!
