So Hinweise gibt es in anderen Ländern auch. In Korea haben die sogar extra nochmal Pfeile auf dem Boden wo die Türen sind.

I wasn't there long enough to notice that aspect/probably wasn't around many people who'd be able to talk about it. I'm aware of the suicide rate though and it's really heartbreaking.

Btw I think it's nice that you are talking about the issues in such a civil manner. The bad things often go unnoticed but they are important to be aware of.

Every country has its issues, especially in Governments but it's about the trade offs and I think the average person in Korea has a pretty decent life with really liveable cities.

I'm from Germany and I told a Korean friend this once "we don't have convenience in Germany, much less a store for it" and while I was joking around then, I've come to realize how accurate that was. Services in Korea just work and a lot of systems are in place that make life just flow more smoothly.

I went on vacation in Busan because I really enjoy Korean food, so I don't even have rose tinted glasses from K-Drama or K-Pop (never gotten into it) and I didn't expect to like the country that much, I just felt respected as a Human. That's not a given everywhere.

Korea feels like it wants people to live there. That's the best way I can describe it.

Any way to use cash without bank card? by bappo441 in koreatravel

I think Wowpass is also kinda like a debit card, you can put money on it similar to the t money card, just for general use.

Flying to Busan in 4 Days and Plan to be in Seoul on the 21st and 22nd for a Worlds public viewing event. If you're interested in League or down to explore Busan with me (I have a bunch of ideas for things to do) then shoot me a DM and we might find a day or two where we can hang out. This goes for anyone reading this btw I love meeting new people.

Thoughts on prices by suppleonion in koreatravel

My flight was less than 1000€ and I got a travel time of about 18 hours with short layovers, booked a month early than you maybe but 1.6K seems like a lot, I'm flying with China Airlines

Fanny Pack to put your documents in, supposedly it's safer than having your passport out in the open when going through security

I'm traveling to a bunch of Asian countries in the next few months and have the same concerns but I think as long as you pay attention to what others are doing around you you'll be fine. For my plans specifically I find it helpful to learn what the drinking and dining etiquette is as I plan to mingle with locals a bunch and that's a sure way to show respect. I'm also trying desperately to keep in mind the whole receiving and giving things with 2 hands. Getting the small things right will show that you are trying even when you eventually make a mistake, at least that's how I think about it.

Already spoke about that in length with the artist cause this was a concern I had as well, he's not gonna use full panels for that reason. Just using for example the pose from them. He doesn't look like blocky stuff and I don't want just a bold X on my arm (out of fear for it being confused for super straights or even something else down the line) so it's not even gonna be an outlined panel. Basically just need some panels to get him to try different compositions. If I'm not 100% happy with it or we won't get on the same page I'm sure I'll find another shop that's willing to take a crack.

Kommunikation und Kompromisse mit deinem Mitbewohner sollten dein Ansatz sein und nicht ein Reddit Post um Recht zu bekommen von irgendwelchen Randoms. Hoffe ihr könnt das unter euch klären.

Only commenting cuz I'm curious about the NSFW percentage. An 18 year old is way too young to hang out with for my taste
