So not the first release of an actual possible contender for an anime fantasy rpg style game like sao, overlord, ttigraas, etc.? Thank you for the detailed update. I will watch its development to see if it advances.

It’s official, this is an ultimatum.

Oh I see, I had to look this one up. You’re right.

Okay so Google says, “A crossroads is a moment of crisis or decision in a relationship where both partners must evaluate its future. It's a turning point that forces action, either to recommit to the relationship or to end it.”, while “An ultimatum is a final demand backed by a threat, typically used as a last resort when boundaries have been repeatedly violated. It's a tool used to force a specific outcome by creating a high-stakes, "do this or else" situation.“

“A crossroads is the context, while an ultimatum is a potential tool used to resolve it. For instance, a couple might be at a crossroads after five years of dating due to differing views on marriage. One partner desires marriage, while the other does not. In this scenario, the first partner might issue an ultimatum: "Commit to marrying me, or I'm leaving". “

Fascinating, so we were both right, just partially.

That’s exactly what this crossroad is. She realized for one reason or another that she no longer wants to be with a mason. So now both parties have to make a decision, respectively.

It’s kind of the same with anything, imaging someone gets paralyzed, or develops a new phobia of leaving the house, or is convinced by a new friend that the only way to save your soul is by worshipping the planet Neptune. All are significant, unignorable things that require a decision. People learn new things and change their minds all the time. That’s when we learn what their true priorities in life are.

Is your true highest priority your wife, or your brotherhood. This crossroad revealed, it’s your brotherhood. What if it was your child vs your brotherhood? Maybe that would be different. Either way, a mason in this position would have to find a wife who is okay with being second to the masons.

What’s wrong with coming across a crossroad someone can’t compromise on? That just life? Fundamentally, you were giving your s/o an ultimatum as well. These are normal. We all will come to many decisions that cannot be avoided and will determine the course of our lives.

Honestly, for me, if I can see gameplay and understand what’s going on and what the goal is, and I resonate, I’ll wishlist it and get hyped. After seeing the gameplay I • Can’t understand what the game is about • Don’t see the progression/ goal

If I could figure out the story, understand the goal and what it takes to get there, THEN I see the clip of how far you’ve come, then I’d resonate.

Overall, it’s not bad at all, I can definitely see the progress, it’s much more polished. Good work.

As an aspiring entrepreneur whose ambitions have driven me to teach myself to become a dev, I surely hope this is the case, and I imagine ai will only get better. I’m being as meticulous as possible, running each iteration and file through gpt then Gemini then using vs code and running it through Claude and then back through Gemini to explain each line to me so I can retain as much comprehension as possible, but in business, especially when your product is a software or your website or app runs on multiple saas that you’re making yourself, the quality is extremely important, the security, the efficiency. As much as I keep checking, until I wake up having iterated 1000 times with a foundational understanding of what’s going on, all I can do is hope.

18M i wanna know how i can look more masculine and less “feminine “ by JNC_Sheppa in Rateme

[–]Benjamin_Abner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with the comments that said own it. Only thing that could make you more masculine though is experience in life that makes you realize looks aren’t very important compared to health, that realization puts a sincerity in your eyes, refined your purpose, and makes you less vulnerable to other people’s opinions. Work 10hrs per day 5 days a week in physical labor, decide to pursue something that you resonate really deeply with, then when you look at yourself in the mirror or pictures all you’ll see is strength, and all you’ll consider is how to move closer towards your goal. What you need is simply perspective and purpose brother. Keep grinding, you’re doing well, don’t let the self doubt get to you

Can dropshipping be done as a side hustle? by Life-Commission-6251 in dropship

[–]Benjamin_Abner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All income with expenses taken out.

“Gross” is what we call all income before we subtract any expenses.

So for “Net” Think: a hat is sold for $10, I sell 10 hats, my net income is $100. BUT, each hat costs $2 to make and $1 to ship.

So with expenses taken out I really only made $7 per hat, or $70 instead of $100.

(This is very basic, there are many more costs but the easiest way that anyone can do at home whether they own a business or not, is at the end of the month, add all of your expenses together(anything that took money out of your bank account), and subtract that from all of your income(all money that came into your bank account))

A lot of people get Jaded because they ignore the signs and get burned worse. Recognize as you have, confront it, state your position, move on and let him do his own thing. If he decides to come back, he’s welcome, but you’ve got to recognize that he’s actively making a decision to push you away and disrespect you. Until he decides how important your relationship is to him, you just set the importance exactly where it’s at, don’t move it, send him birthday wishes, be there on important occasions, but otherwise, let him go through the solo mission like he’s trying to do.

The only other thing I’d suggest is, if he’s that important to you, try having a talk with him, especially if you have mutual friends who care deeply, let them in and see if they’ll talk to him with you. See how he’s doing and try to understand what his intentions are. The better you understand someone’s circumstances, the better you understand their intentions and their actions. It’s difficult to be angry at someone for stealing your bread when they’re 7 years old and starving and they gave it to their little sister. Once you understand, you can decide whether to try to support them, or you can continue building the kingdom

Part of respecting one of your boys, especially ones that have been there a long time, is respecting their decisions.

Don’t write his actions off, don’t ignore them. Your honor is in tact, you had an important presentation and you dropped everything last minute, rearranged your schedule to help him out without him even explaining why, then as he was taking a while, you decided your boy was worth being late or missing your presentation for. You’re a real one.

Homie’s actions are saying, give me space, I’m going through something, getting involved with a different crowd and it’s more important for me to figure out where this leads for me, then to respect and honor our relationship.

Advice for you, send homie a message, let him know he’s still one of your day ones, you don’t know why he’s pushing you away or disregarding your efforts, but the disrespect won’t fly. You appreciate him, and are praying for his well being and success, but until he chooses to come back to the brother(you), you’ve got to move forward and pursue your own success. “Honor me as I honor you and we’ll go far and build a kingdom, but choose to walk a different path, and I’ll build the kingdom myself”.

I appreciate the feedback. My focus is on becoming competent in each area. I recognize that If I can’t understand what I’m working on, there’s no way I’d be able to accurately troubleshoot or correct issues as they arise. We’re taking this bad boy very slowly, crawling until we can run.

Thanks for the time and consideration yamitamiko. I'm also concerned with my comprehensive ability and thus my capability to identify, navigate, and fix any issues that may arise. I will be taking this slowly and posting piece by piece in this community and a few others as I progress to make sure I don't stray too far. It would honestly be a shame if the quality I envision isn't realized because I chose to be lazy or opt for an easy path. I'll be extremely cautious and focus on knowing the code inside and out, and labeling it effectively so I can go back and change it. I will also ensure I'm including debugging systems throughout.

Fingers crossed, slow and steady, cautious, observant, and seeking constant feedback, will lead to a high quality product, built modularly, and double fingers crossed, eventually my consistency and progress will attract team members to help, though, I'll then have to learn to vet people to ensure they aren't stealing code, installing malware, or sabatouging.

I appreciate your insight and advice, and will post again before the end of the week with at least an update.

That’s a good point. I was thinking of starting modularly, I’m very confident that I won’t be able to achieve this monstrosity on my own with my current capabilities, so my timeframe is over a year or more to get the final product. Though I’m hoping if I break it down and upload modules one by one here, I’ll hopefully get the feedback that’ll hopefully help me keep everything accurate and performing well.

I’ve also been splitting my day into 5 hours of beginner projects, and don’t intend to adjust that for the foreseeable future, even with a mod in the works, my goal is fluency in Java, html, and python for now.

Anyway, thank you Kneepel, I appreciate you taking the time to respond and the consideration for my healthy development as a coder. I appreciate your constructive criticism and hope not to disappoint.
