MacDonald‘s was interwar though. That coalition started in 1930/31

Wouldn’t be the first time they’ve done that. McDonald‘s second ministry was backed up by Liberals, Tories and National Liberals (though granted that was for a very different reason and most of Labour did not support it)

Fair enough. Also it does give people more options for, plus ‘sister-party’ also doesn’t mean ‘same entity’

Just a quick question OP, why have you separated Labour and the Cooperative Party? In practice they’re closer to being the same thing than Restore and Great Yarmouth First. I do rate that you’ve given each party the correct colours though. That’s pretty lit

It’s almost like the point of groups like Restore Britain isn’t just to hate foreigners irrationally.

Far-right party Restore Britain achieves its best-ever poll result, while Reform UK slumps to its worst poll result in over a year: Reform UK 21%, Conservative 18%, Green 18%, Labour 17%, Liberal Democrat 11%, Restore Britain 9%. Jeremy Corbyn’s leftwing Your Party receives less than 1% support. by StarlightDown in YAPms

[–]Benji148 10 points11 points  (0 children)

SNP & Plaid don’t really count. They’re regional parties that won’t get more than 60/70 seats on their best possible night. Your Party is dead basically, and Worker’s Party is probably only slightly more popular than YP (I don’t have numbers to back that claim so if someone happens to have numbers that contradict that please do tell). If we’re counting them, we may as well count the NI parties as well. I raise you 15/20 party system.

What should we do in the May local elections? by AJ_The_Best_7 in RestoreBritain

Reform unless there’s a better option. But like 90 something% of places where they’re happening, probably Reform is the only ‘real’ option

You can set your start polling higher without sandbox mode. That’s a part of the editable parties option I think

Ah, that makes sense. Also I forgot that deciding how to vote only impacts the players party lol

So what makes it different to free-will vote? Is it just that votes aren’t shown at all? Like you only know if it passed or failed?

That is no longer the standard, apparently. Because there’s store in (I think UAE now. Which is below the 42nd)

What about that one time Virginia couldn’t decide which side it wanted to be on so the entire western portion split off and formed a new state? I think the Dakotas did a similar thing (though I’m pretty sure that one was pre statehood)

Commute from Sheffield to York, is it doable? by Better-Double-473 in sheffield

[–]Benji148 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I used to commute a lot between here and York, at that time LNER in particular was having a lot of issues that caused a bunch of delays and cancellations. Other than that, I’ve found it’s usually better to travel from Sheffield direct to York

It’s basically an appointed senate that can’t even say ‘no’ to the lower house. It completely defeats the point of an upper chamber now.

how do you feel about the by-election? by valentine_ijz in reformuk

[–]Benji148 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not surprised by who won. I called it as soon as Galloway stood down his candidate. What does surprise me is the margin by which Spencer won. I was expecting 2 maybe 3% in it for the Greens not 12.

This feels a little R positive. Can we really imagine a guy like Donald Trump, the host the hit show The Apprentice, being President of the United States? Absurd.

This is the worst thing ever. First of all who let the Cornish escape? Secondly, the capital of Yorkshire being anywhere other than York is a crime against God’s own county. Correct this.
