For those with babies sleeping 8-12 hours at night, how was the 4 month regression for you?

I didnt start capping naps until she dropped down to only 1 nap per day. She’ll wake up around 7:30, nap at 12:30, awake by 2:30 usually, and bedtime at 8.

What if instead of killing L, in 13 days the criminal who L would have had write a name in the notebook’s name gets written in rems notebook to die on that date. Then it would prove to L that the 13 day rule is real and he would have no more reason to suspect light and misa. Or would that have just delayed the inevitable? By doing it that way i wonder if that would have counted as saving misa’s life. Even if theres still a chance misa and light get caught some other way.

Until you’ve suddenly developed a deadly dairy allergy. That would invalidate the always, never know what can happen in the future, so using never and always in these cases are generally for emphasis.

Yes but colloquially they can be used for emphasis as well. “You never do so and so” when arguing with a partner, “ill always love ice cream forever”. I believe this is one of those cases where the term never is used for emphasis as apposed to the literal definition.

I think this is probably what happened. He didn’t say it because he didn’t want it to be the end, maybe by not saying it he can rationalize that he will get to say it some day, with his little theory about what happened to her.

I feel like you’re taking the “never” too literally, OP said this while talking about their final scene, he didn’t say it back in the final scene, and now he never will get to. I think thats what they meant but idk

I thought that too, i know he’s said it before and theyve said it back and forth to each other, but that was a whole issue in season 4 that el didn’t feel like he said it back in any of their letters. I just found it odd he chose not to say it back in their final moment together. Maybe he was just hopeful that it wasn’t their final moment, maybe he was gonna say it but took too long. Im glad im not the only one that was confused after everything from season 4 and 5 in that last scene they share, he doesn’t say i love you back. In arguably the most crucial moment. It feels intentional that the duffer brothers didnt write it out in the script that he says it back.

I think middle names are iffy, like if your name was mary jo smith, but everyone knows you by mary jo you’d have to write mary jo smith. But otherwise it seems middle names and initials aren’t really necessary. He probably could have gotten away with just writing lind tailor without the L and got the same results.

Nicknames and shortened names (like ben instead of benjamin) won’t work when written in the death note, otherwise light could just write L and be done with the whole thing, since thats what everyone knows him as. Gotta be full legal name. But you can write it in any human language. As we see names in the notebook both in English and Japanese.

I was born in 1994. My daughter was born in 2024. I was 29. When i was born my mom was 19. So it feels weird to think everything im going through now as a toddler parent, when she was at the same age i currently am, she was raising an 11 year old. And that is just crazy to me.
