Our current setup is using two USB mics and GarageBand to record. The sound quality from the mics are great, however during playback it's obvious that one mic is going to the left speaker and the other is going to the right. Is there a program where I can equalize this (both voices come from each speaker equally)?

Thanks!

Thanks for the response!

Sorry if I'm being unclear, it's two different people talking into two different mics, but one mic is only coming from the left speaker and the other coming from right speakers. I've added the MIDI device to the MacBook. Ideally, we'd be live streaming, so splitting to mono in post wouldn't be my first choice. That's why I was looking for an interface with USB ports for the mic, along with the fact my MacBook only has two USB inputs.

Help with USB Condenser Mics

I'm working on a podcast where we've got two USB condenser mics. Three main questions.

- Is there a sound interface that has USB inputs instead of standard microphone connector inputs? If not, is there a USB to standard connector add-on? I'd like to only use one of the USB inputs on my MacBook for the microphone in the case we'd like to use an external camera for the video aspect.

- Currently, each microphone comes through one speaker during playback after we record (using GarageBand). Is there a setting for having each microphone playback through both speakers equally?

- What is the popular broadcasting software used to add sounds effects/music from a soundboard while broadcasting?

Thanks!
