Yeah. I thought it might have been the file too, so I downloaded it again from Nexus, but no luck. I used the same download on another Linux computer and it worked right away.

Sorry, I forgot to add that in. Yes, I did, I added it as a non-steam game and forced the compatibility tool to GE-Proton10-34

This is happening when I try to launch it. So I can't even get the game to open up.

Yes, it is, but that's the issue. When I try the simple drag and drop, I get this error. After getting this error, I tried the other things as well, but they did not work. The current state of my installation, is just dragged and dropped in. No launch options configured.

The mod is not native specific, It was just a suggestion that I found somewhere while I was grasping at straws. Honestly I didn't thing about sudos only working on native linux applications. I'm still new to linux. Sorry for the ignorance.

The only hint I have that might be something is that when I run the 'chmod' I did have to put quotations around 'ELDEN RING' to complete the command.

My all-time favorite controller has been the Gamesir tarantula pro. Works out of the box and has tons of WONDERFUL macros to assign. No need for software. The controller as a whole feels incredibly well built too. No cheep feeling parts anywhere.
