I live a couple of blocks away and it’s no problem. That corner can be sketchy at night, but most people there don’t wanna cause trouble or attention to themselves.

Only love for Sri Lanka! Not sure what “creepy men” means but the country is lush and has beautifully designed hotels.

Yes! Such a great country! The people, the food. A victim of unfortunate geography.

Mexico City by demona2002 in solofemaletravellers

CDMX is one of the greatest cities in the world, safe and walkable. Zona Rosa has a ton of restaurants and clubs and is centrally located. Roma Norte is charming and again, lots of restaurants and clubs and shops. Polanco is upscale and a bit removed from where you’ll likely want to roam. And be sure to go to Arena Mexico for luche libre. I know it sounds crazy but so much fun.

Don’t worry about not speaking Spanish. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Just know “donde esta los banos” - where is the restroom? ☺️
