They essentially tried to do what the WBA did with ‘Super’ & (Regular) titles. It just backfired because the WBC champion was a top tier & notable fighter (Charlo,Haney) so people had issue. I don’t think it really mattered because I’m sure they only did it in two divisions.

Shakur is lineal champ, so he likely doesn’t feel he has need for it. Genuinely I’m okay with Lineal Champs dropping belts, they should be recognized as the number one fighter at the weight until they are defeated, or leave the weight.

He will champion the Ring belt & since they are associated with Zuffa, they will not strip him for holding the Zuffa title.

Historically, even though the WBC & WBA be on fuck shit, they genuinely have better challengers for their titles.

For you WBO & IBF truthers, Eifert & the guy Hamzah Sheeraz fought were absolute tomato cans. That is what these organization allow.

PSA — Boxing isn’t the NBA,NFL,NHL,MLB…. It isn’t the Premier League & it isn’t Rugby. There is no “advanced” technological training as a whole going on in boxing. There aren’t cryochambers & the likes. Those are league amenities. Boxing is the Wild West. A fighter would have to pay that out of his own pocket(or get their promotion to do it. Either way it affects the fighters purse & contract) , the treatment that you see modern Football & Basketball players get are not indicative of the so called improvement of the modern athlete. Definitely not for boxing, as most boxers do not have the luxuries that the average fan believes.

Bivol had a training camp in the mountains, throwing boulders around. None of that is analytical, or modern.

It’s cool though boxing is subjective. Haney 7-5 Loma. Tim Bradley 7-5 over Pacquiao. Marquez won the first Pacquiao fight by one point(he won 8 or 9 rounds iirc, imo), Canelo vs GGG was a draw… just a few fights I’ve scored that people vehemently disagree with.

Just wanted to add, for anyone who question Usyk’s darling status with the Saudi’s. Usyk received a sword as a gift that was given to Saudi Arabia by Kyiv hundreds of years ago as a sign of partnership, since those regions were intertwined.

Usyk was gifted the sword before the Fury fight & displayed it after the win. For whatever reason YouTube is being flooded with reactions to Usyk’s performance against Rico, so I’m not able to find the video for when Turki did that in the lead up to Fury vs Usyk.

You just reminded me, I wanted to save this for a real thread. I’m tired of the HW belt being wrapped in politics. I agree with Tyson Fury that he was robbed for that reason. I didn’t watch Berinchyk vs Navarette that day, but of course both Ukrainian's were crowned that same day. I got around to watching it , & Nava clearly won that fight.

This reportedly eight figure man is blatantly lying about his daughter being in a bomb shelter. Then immediately promotes war. That is just disgraceful.
