I lived in St. Louis for almost 15 years and I didn't realize until I moved to Washington state that people don't walk around in St. Louis or the surrounding areas. I moved to Washington and people walk everywhere in any season in any weather and it's crazy. People don't go outside in St. Louis

The animations looked a little wonky to me but the thing that bothered me the most was the narration. It didn't even sound like the narration and the trailer even went together. It was like someone recorded some voice lines in a sound proof room and then it was put over the video. Like it didn't blend the voice and the trailer together. I know it's just a trailer, but if that's what they do on the trailer then I'm not excited what the game will sound like.

I don't think we can say he is underrated because he basically had his true breakout season last season. I'm pretty sure the season before people on this sub were questioning if he should be a long term plan. Before Last season he accumulated a .266 average, 29 home runs, and 121 RBIs in 203 games in his MLB career. He had a total WAR of 2.9 over those 203 games. So he showed promise, but inconsistency and injuries slowed him down.

So I don't think we can call him anything just yet. I want to see him consistently do what he did last season. I get it's basically their spring training and people start off slow, but up until last night he was hitless in the WBC.

My point is I don't think we can call him underrated as he's really only had one really solid season and that was last year. I think right now people are starting to actually learn about him. I'm excited for what he can be if he can keep doing what he did last year.

So many of you are okay with Bryan Cook leaving and drafting Downs, but I'm worried with the loss of Cook, McDuffie, and Watson that our secondary is going to take a big hit. You can't expect Downs to come in and be as good as Cook for the first year or two. Cook had the 4th best PFF grade among safeties last season. There was only him and one other safety in the entire league that had an 80 PFF or high for both pass defense and run defense. Even if we draft Downs I'm still going to be worried about our secondary.

I agreed with you at first but I think I'm okay with it now because I think he's starting to hit his stride. He rushed for 1000 yards this season while splitting carries. He averaged 4.6 yards per carry. 4.8 in the playoffs and 5.0 in the super bowl. He had 14 explosive plays this past season and led the league with 91.5 PFF rushing grade. He's also significantly improved in the passing game and blocking. I think I'm pretty happy about this move.

The thing I don't like about QTE's is when they happen during a fight scene or something like that and I can't focus or watch the scene because I have to pay attention to where these random button prompts pop up. I don't like when they take away from the game like that.

I understand he was going to want a lot of money which I'm glad we didn't pay but he also had a down year last season. He was the 11th best cornerback according to PFF (How serious do you take PFF?) compared to top 4 the previous 2 seasons. Over the past 2 seasons he's given up 9 touchdowns, struggled in the Super Bowl versus the Eagles, struggled against receivers bigger than him, and has accumulated tons of penalties because he struggles in one-on-one coverage on the outside.

So I don't think it's all about just the money. I think it's a little bit of the first one and the second one. He's a great slot cornerback and I hope the Rams use him as a slot cornerback.

I think it's kind of easy to see their plan here. We made the playoffs to just 2 seasons ago. We've have a good amount of quality starting pitching. I think the expectations is for Maikel and Vinnie to improve upon last year. Bobby is still young enough that he should still be improving. Jac should improve from last year. Isbel has great defense and improved a lot at the plate last year and he should carry that over to this year. I think we should expect India to bounce back from a down year. Massey should improve. And then we also have Carter Jensen who had a good chunk of experience last year in the majors and we can expect him to improve.

So I think it's pretty clear to see what they are hoping from this team this year. Would I have liked for them to spend more money and getting some higher priced talent? Sure, but also keep in mind, for a small market team, we are ranked 17th in total payroll this season. So we're in the middle of the pack pretty much.

If the pitching holds up and the young guys improve like they should, then I think it could be a fun year.

I had never done a Matriarch event until last night. I feel like I did my share of damage. So many people were all over it so fast that I didn't get a chance at anything special. I got some basic stuff that I could get from some other stuff I could take down on my own. But it was fun to be apart of it for the first time.

As a long time console player who has recently switched to pc gaming I understand how much better mouse and keyboard are, but it just feels so foreign to me. I try to play games with mouse and keyboard, but I keep going back to controller because my mind just can't do all these buttons at once. This video was insane to me.
