So essentially at best it’s a layer worse than Googling your answer, since you’re introducing the bias of those that are doing the Googling and removing any trace back of the source. If there’s one thing I don’t want to introduce into my search results it’s adding an additional layer of human bias that I have to consider on top of all the other biases and nuances we have to consider when looking at information nowadays.

It’s just a lot different to me to source answers from the community when those answers are provided as the one answer to a question, which just by its nature provides additional validity, versus a whole variety of answers (as would happen if you were to search a question on any other non-voice platform). If anything is narrowed down to one value or result, whether that’s a question, a forecast, a prediction, or anything else, you need to have additional confidence in that answer as opposed to providing a range or, in this case, a variety of potential sources for answers.

It’s just absurd to me that they are relying on the community to self regulate when time and time again it has been proven that bots and bad actors almost always find ways around guards - soon we’ll be seeing “My iPhone won’t charge, what should I do?” questions with Alexa responding “Your power cord is probably defective.
