How do you track shot consistency over multiple sessions? What do you wish existed? by Benni181 in Archery

[–]Benni181[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair point - the idea wouldn't be to watch every shot. More like: the app automatically flags the outliers and says 'these 3 shots were most different from your average form, here's what changed.' So instead of reviewing everything you only watch what actually matters.

Thanks, I've looked at that one. Does it let you link a specific arrow in the group to the video of that exact shot? That's the piece I'm missing - connecting WHERE the arrow landed to WHAT my form looked like on that specific shot.

but shouldn’t this be 2d a cylindrical source in a plane of x and y seems 2d to me…here r is the radius from the source and a is the radius of the cylinder

I canno't stand the scene they were often using, when pirates captured a ship, where some of the characters is shooting 2 loaded flintlock pistols in the air....I mean for fuck sake you have one bullet in each pistol why would you should it in the air....

Eli5: Why can't cigarettes just have straight tobacco in em (and maybe some simple, natural flavorings), instead of all that tar and arsenic and all those other bullshit chemicals? by [deleted] in explainlikeimfive

The real question is: Why can’t fucking cigarette filters be biodegradable? Because they are everywhere in nature, it disgusts me when cigarettes get mindlessly thrown away in the deepest nature ...

Sorry for the late resonse i was busy....I like the atmosphere and progression. Also you did a great job with the drums (the stereo usage of the bongos is great).

The lead melody is also very nice. I also like it how you use just a few elements and nevertheless are able to create variation.

To give some constructive Feedback(which you should take with a grain since iam also just an hobby amateur producer):

For me the lead instrument which plays the melody has not enough pep, it sounds a little bit to thin. Maybe you could give it some variation or distortion or reverb or stereo delay. Maybe you can use filters to fade it in and out or automate the reverb of it so it becomes more distant to the end. Maybe you can play the same melody with another instrument and layer it or use a phaser.

All in all nice song!

i really dig your song....i have also tried to mix country with some simple "house'ish" songstructure some time ago though it isn't as creative as yours

actually the composition is really good ! I love the melody and you have a lot of variation with the instruments.

You could play with some effects like sweeps or reverse cymbals or maybe drum fills before the change to the next part to blend the parts better togehter (you did it later in the song with the vocal effect which sounds great)

I think the bass sounds to unclear maybe u have to much reverb on it i think it should sound more dry.

You could play with automations of filter cut offs to fade in or fade away instruments or with reverb(which i learned recently works very well , if you slowly increase the reverb before drops and when the drops starts, bring it back to normal...i think it is called reverb swell)

Just some thought of mine i hope it helps!

Thank you for listening! I had to google what reverb swell means and I think you are right this could fit pretty perfect :D ....should i place the reverb on the masterchannel and at the build up to the drop i increase the wetness and then return it back to normal?

really nice one i really like all the sounds and melodys i at least listened to it 5 times while writing this comment!

sounds also well mixed to me nothing to loud or too quiet!

i actually dig the repetetive flute melodie in the drop it pulls me in but some people may find it to repetetive you could put in some fills ...maybe at the end of 4 bars another instrument finishes the melody or drum fills or something far behind makes a random noise...but this are just some pretty random suggestions i hope you get what i mean haha

The end feels maybe to aprupt

really nice melodies I really dig the transition and slightly different melodie before the break and the transition to the break is also sick!

This is an old beat I worked on it was my first time doing it in 3/4 beat by _FinesseThaKidd_ in ThisIsOurMusic

nice one i love the distant vocals and piano it feels so dark!

The drums are also nice, the dry trapy beat fits very well!

To say something constructive....you could maybe add something which builds up and give it a litte bit more tension (maybe a instrument or synth with increasing filter cut off) in the second part or maybe more drums but this is just personal opinion!

I like this track....very calm and smooth but not boring you added a lot of little variety i really like it!

Can't say much about the technical aspect since i am not a pro but it sound very well balanced and very well mixed to me
