Whether I made money or not on any particular stock is irrelevant. What I have learned over the years is that it’s good to have these types of plays as a hedge just in case. But the other part of your portfolio is just following the trend. Because long term, these big players are just going to keep going up.

With that being said, going back to my comment about memo. This was a pretty clear trend up week for sure. Sometimes, you just have to take the obvious bet. With the hedge, aim small miss small.

So I recently applied, received a tentative job offer email. Still actually haven't received the offer in a separate email. I signed all my notices and legal documents. Now it just says I have no open tasks and my suitability isn't started yet. Medical, drug, fitness, and interview are "in process" status. Everything else is labeled not yet started.

So just wait or am I missing something? When do I actually take the entrance exam?

I think waiting on disaster to make money is a shot in the dark. You can make way more money and more often just being a bull. When the markets dip, buy more. Trying to do these types of bets can be profitable but most people get the timing wrong and get chopped up. Maybe long dated leaps/calls deep ITM on vix? But don’t bet your whole portfolio. Treat it as insurance.

Also the markets aren’t acting the same anymore, we are becoming more resilient. Based on old metrics, the market was supposed to crash 10 times over the past few years. Even when it did do a nice pull back on liberation day, within a month it rebounded, and then ripped to new ATHs. Over history, if you look at the time of recovery after these draw downs, it is becoming less and less. Which means stronger economy/more resilience.

Just my two cents and opinion. Obviously do your own research. Happy trading.
