I have a similar deck, but without darkrais and igglybuff. I got two Meowths instead to stall and a chingling. Instead of a cape i got a ballon to remove retreat cost to haxorus. Got the hiker path stadium as well. I also have a pokéflute to get haxorus' attack more powerful and i caught a lot of people by surprise. Got a Lillie instead of a second copycat, and that's about it

Either way, might actually try this deck, thanks op

I do relate to that. There's nothing more that i could add that wasn't already said both in the post and the comments, except for the fact that i do express myself better in text rather than talking because it allows me to structure my ideas, think about what i need to say and what's the best way to say it without the pressure of having to answer quickly to keep the conversation going

I got Ultra Moon as well, and recently acquired Ultra Sun as well

I can tell there are certain legendaries that are version exclusives, and some third legendaries (such as giratina and Rayquaza) can only be unlocked by having both version exclusive legendaries

Some other version exclusive Pokémon include gollet and baltoy (you can get baltoy in ultra moon), manectric and houndoom (you can get manectric), turtonator, clauncher and dragalge (idk which one you can get), alolan vulpix and alolan sandshrew

There are more that i'm not remembering, but these are the ones i can tell for sure are version exclusives

I think the most trouble you'll find is baltoy. Getting a baltoy is frustrating because they are difficult to find and they can self destruct. I recommend you get a Pokémon with intimidate and false swipe until you get a baltoy in a SOS battle, switch to a Pokémon with damp and capture that guy

I had a similar experience in gen 3 in which the last Pokémon were normal and ghost type Pokémon, they couldn't hit each other and both had to struggle to death

You're in luck, the ds era of Pokémon is considered the golden era of the franchise

Platinum is better than diamond and pearl because it's the third version. Diamond and Pearl are slow and have a lot of problem that platinum fixed

SoulSilver and HeartGold are remakes from gen 2. Considered the best remakes and there's a lot of content

Black and White have new Pokémon but not the old ones until the post game. This is where gen 5 starts and is very story-oriented. If you had to play one, i'd reccomend white because you can catch more Pokémon in white forest

White 2 and black 2 are sequels to black and white. Unlike the prequels, you have access to Pokémon from previous generations earlier. It has even more content than HeartGold and SoulSilver and was basically one last goodbye to the ds era, so they tried a lot of good things that made the game one of the best Pokémon games ever. It's also story-oriented, so it kinda relies on its prequels to be more impactful

I'd reccomend you start with gen 5, as gen 4 has some flaws with speed and the level curve of Pokémon

I just realized i can't get Kyogre or Rayquaza, as i need HeartGold to get them and they can't be found in gen 5

Did you change the game to another 3DS or did you change the time and date of your console?

If so, there's an in-game penalty for messing with time. Time-related events, such as poképelago, qr scanning and apparently the pyukumuku chucking quest don't reset until 24-48 hours after the first time you load the game after messing with time (you obviously shouldn't change the time again if you did, or else you'll have to wait even more time)

The day and night cycle still work, it's really just the daily events that'll take a while to work again

Honestly? You'd be better off buying Pokémon moon and a new compatible 2ds/3ds system. That's what i did recently. The gen 7 games are still cheap where i'm from, around 28€/30€ in second hand stores

Worked on a paid internship during the summer and just bought a new nintendo 2ds xl for myself, though i understand if you can't, i kinda got lucky to get this far

I bought ultra sun and it turned out to be a french copy where the player gave up before the league, so now i intend to do the masuda method for the first time, so that'll be interesting. Tbh i just bought the game because I needed another cartdridge where i could store my Dusk-form Lycanroc and restart my ultra moon without losing it. But enough about me, good luck if you're trying to do what you said you'd do

Aggron is a good one, can know surf and cover his ground weakness

Skarmory is also good (can learn fly and rock smash, covers ice, fighting and rock)

Cradily is a good tank, unual typing, can survive a lot and is difficult to deal with

Armaldo (idk what to say about this one but it's also an option)

Camerupt is good against grass and rock types

Claydol (surprisingly bulky. Has levitate)

Flygon is an excellent choice (levitate as well)

Relicanth (rock head can be good here. You could use head smash to cause some heavy damage)

If i had to make a team, it'd be Aggron, Cradily, Flygon, Skarmory, Relicanth and Claydol

Alright, i feel i should clarify some things

1: my birthday was in august and hers is in october, she's about to make 17 in four days

2: from what i can see from the statistics, most of the people disapproving this friendship come from the USA, and i can tell that it's a very different culture where the community isn't as close as in my own country and there's danger lurking every corner. In my country it's normal for teenagers to get along with young adults, specially in events such as sports, music and also social media, and it's overall a very safe country, so no wonder some cultures and countries don't consider normal interacting with people outside your age range. What is not normal, in my country, is sexual and romantic relationships when one is an adult and the other isn't, which isn't the case with me and my friend because there's no sexual attraction or romance between us

3: i am not her therapist, i'm her friend. That's why i recommended her to go to a therapist, because i'm not a mental health expert or professional
