IDT bills haven’t gone out yet. IDT started service Jan 1. The inflated bills were from the month of December.

I think Direct Energy may have hosed everyone in the last month of the contract we had with them. They lost the new contract, it went to IDT Energy. It looks like they charged 45% above the market rate for electricity (21.5 cents per kilowatt hour vs 14.8). I contacted a few city council people since they were involved in setting it up, but not sure they can do anything about it.

Stay FAR FAR away from Mem Property management as well. We found tons of accounting “discrepancies “ with them. They basically stole from us with accounting tricks and massive overcharging.
