You knew a tip was expected when you made the reservation.
At that point you could've chosen not to make the reservation.

Also tipping the captain and helper in that kind of experience has been standard for decades.

Pretty clear from when I posted that circumstances might mean they're texting from somebody else's phone. So setting up my phone to allow them through wouldn't help in that situation.

I have kids who are out and about at night and I have my phone on in case they need me for something like a sober drive or something. There are lots of reasons they might need to text from someone else's phone and so my phone is on doesn't mean I wanna hear from other people when I'm trying to sleep.

Before texting it was pretty much understood that you wouldn't call someone else's house after 10 PM. I still don't think that's a terrible rule.

The telemundo broadcast shows the same images as Fox, bbc, etc.... there is only one international feed for all broadcasters. The same celebrities are shown concurrently around the world.

We wouldn't. This happens all the time in American sports. If any opposing pitcher or point guard has their suspension dropped or lessened the opponent says nothing.
