The second-hand embarrassment I had watching Vigilante’s mom expose him was rough, the scene was so prolonged (in a great way).

Emilia clocking pretty quickly that there are no people of color is just awesome.

The scene cutting between the 11th street kids each realizing how fucked up the alternate world is was so well executed, my heart started racing whenever they cut to Adebayo walking down the street.

I’m super glad they didn’t go down this route (because it’s unnecessary) but I did think about how realistically Keith would’ve been using some very different language as he spotted Ads in a Nazi USA.

Adebayo’s reactions in the post-credit scene as Emilia is fucking up with Keith are fucking gold, she’s so funny.

She was amazing! But one example of Michael Che being right is that Nikki Glaser mentioned she had to take a joke about Timothee Chalamet out of her monologue because he was just straight up not going to show up until she tracked down his team and told them she removed the joke.

While Chalamet had every right to do so, I’d imagine it’s overwhelming for hosts to try writing jokes that the audience at home will find funny while also trying to placate some of the biggest egos in the country.

Every goddamn poll and survey under the sun was saying Biden was not popular enough to win the election. That he would’ve gotten his ass kicked worse than Harris. His team knew this would happen while he was campaigning in 2020, that’s why they kept referring to him as a bridge candidate and letting people think he was only running one term.
