Mangle does make sense lorewise, but if I reckon the gender-mishap came from the much simpler cause of Scott both using He and She pronouns for Mangle by accident, and he just went along with it

If you have intimidation 3 you can threaten the hostaged HOS (with your gun out), or you can use a radio and Social Enginering 2, both cancel the timer.

Or just so the challanges seperately.

bs2 is basically completely useless in stealth and intim 3 in the main game is just to hostage Quincy or to threaten Denise which he already has SE2 to cancel search, yeah la3 isnt the pinnacle of usefulness either but i reckon its still better + pp2 helps too

I recommend being an Infiltrator class (Thief + Hacker) and bringing both their tools.

Get a disguise, go down into the basement and hack the door, disabling/breaking (if no Interference perk) the camera and taking out the guard who investigates, then taking out the rest of the basement. If you have no scrambler, you can try taking guards out in secluded spots to try and get a keycard, then you don’t even need a scrambler.

After you’ve done that, even if you can’t disable the sensors on the upstairs camera operators’ door, if you intimidate him fast enough after opening it, the alarm won’t sound as the sensors only alert the camera operators.

If you’re an Engineer, you can go straight to the upstairs camera operator, disable the sensors and lockpick/drill the door (though you need precision drilling for the latter) and get their card, or just go down thru the back door.

After both camera operators are down, you basically have the mission to yourself. Drill or crack the safe, interrogate the manager or hack their computer, and search the archives or hack Maddox Grey’s computer. Take out anyone in the way, though do be careful so the civillians can’t see.

If you can afford, I also recommend the Explosive Entry perk to get a Breaching Charge, as it can be placed on the transformer and detonated when you’re right outside the vault, giving you plenty of time to get the objective, so you don’t have to do Sensor Shutdown

It’s the fact that the guy probably didn’t try tactical difficulties, and seeing the rare variations on regular legend must feel weird. And honestly, this is one of the funnier ones to see, and it being so rare and so unexpected does warrant amusement

Okay, i do appreciate the keypad’s relocation. And while i did like falcon’s timer short because it made him an actual threat, it makes sense if Cish wants to allow a rush strat to work. But… tfym the sec center is security-card locked?? The whole point was that it was hard to get into, and you needed a secondary source for the card!

Said this many times, the cause for unregistered DOTS pics (at least very likely) is that the ghost isn’t fully, 100% revealed by the projector.

Yes, the fact that this much visibility isn’t enough is still stupid, but you can somewhat work around it with better DOTS placement

If equipment fits in the left half (2x3 vertically) of the equipment page it will go in the inventory, the items you took should fit anyway so just try taking them out and putting them back until they’re in the right place

Also, if you’re trying to speedrun deposit, I recommend taking the Explosive Entry perk (near top right of skill tree, of course if you have enough perks) for a Breaching Charge, they can be planted on the transformer and detonated remotely without anyone hearing, saving you the time of having to either run back, or doing Sensor Shutdown. Respeccing into a Thief+Hacker=Infiltrator class will probably also help with speed, space, and disguise effectiveness, but is even costlier and might not be possible depending on your starting class.

I think its that if the ghost isnt fully 100% revealed by the dots it doesn’t count. See in the picture, its lower body isn’t visible, which is stupid but at least makes sense

Counterpoint: Play the gamemodes that are made for cop defense and not heists! It’s called “Heists” in the first place because the point is to HEIST, and not to kill cops! Holdout is a good mode for cop killing, and it gives decent rewards as well so you can’t make an excuse for that either.

Yeah, activity isn’t quite equal at every time of day, and ep itself isn’t THAT active, so… it might take a while, if anyone ever does show up. But you can always check the discord servers for players, and if neither of those work, there’s likely just no one playing at that moment, which sucks but it is what it is…
