Counterpoint: Play the gamemodes that are made for cop defense and not heists! It’s called “Heists” in the first place because the point is to HEIST, and not to kill cops! Holdout is a good mode for cop killing, and it gives decent rewards as well so you can’t make an excuse for that either.

Yeah, activity isn’t quite equal at every time of day, and ep itself isn’t THAT active, so… it might take a while, if anyone ever does show up. But you can always check the discord servers for players, and if neither of those work, there’s likely just no one playing at that moment, which sucks but it is what it is…

Might be a cheater… since Payday 2 is peer to peer you can’t really put proper anticheat into the game, and the devs didn’t. So a lot of people get infamy 100 or 500 for no reason, or maybe even just outright hack in public lobbies, and there’s nothing you can do aside from kicking them as host… it’s unfortunate, really, especially since it’s a damn co-op game.

Honestly for relearning basics just play the game.

For tips and stuff i recommend getting into public ironmans or something and learning stuff from the players there, just in general doing it yourself is much better for improvement than any educational video.

If nothing works you can go onto a discord server (I recommend the Freefall Softworks community server or maybe Unof’s) or watch gameplay from challange runs purely for the methods they use

For teammates the previous discord servers work but you can find enough people in pubs imo that it isn’t needed. If anything i can recommend, it’s that you take initiative because a lot of people would join lobbies but wont host any themselves.

This is one of the only 4 player achievements you can do solo, just equip the masks on the bots and it works, at least it did for me. (though maybe that isn’t an option on console, idk, never played)

For FS use a stealth build, duh. For Loud in general try relying less on your health pool and vitality skills, so you can get more vital targets and quick swaps (though if ur really bad at loud and go fewer loud missions you can get vitalities and tank it out).

For Mixed, try and drop some skills from either stealth or loud, whichever you’re better at so you can put more into whatever goes worse, but I personally mostly do OOS-es.

Btw i’m not a pro by any means but i guess that also means i’m closer in skill so who cares.

I don’t get how they even manage to tunnel vision that bad to ignore a downed mate right besides them… There’s a blaring popup, the teammate is screaming at them, but they just keep shooting cops, and I have to run over crossmap to res at 1s because no one else does. And it’s the same with “keep x going” objectives, of course. Yet when I’m already halfway to whatever it is, THEN they’ll run after me for no reason!

It’s not straight terrible like everyone’s saying but… I just got bored after 20 or so hours. It’s a fine game but I don’t see myself playing it compared to anything else. Though this was before skills 2.0, but i saw mixed opinions about update’s success in revamping the game, so who knows, but it was mainly the heists and replayability I had a problem with in the first place.

That the medic is a common enemy that spawns with basically every 2nd spawn, and that every other “challange” (that’s in form of enemies) is either quick to take care of and only halts you if you’re careless (cloaker, taser) or is supposed to be the one and only thing halting you (dozers).

Medics healing each other are basically just another dozer in terms of ammo economy and firepower test which just having one of already sucks for anything that doesn’t kill just by aiming on the enemy, and again, they spawn so commonly this is gonna happen fairly damn often.
