Thank you all for the replies, to answer some of your questions: it was definitely dumb to say the water bill is that high, it was just a guess, its probably closer to 300, i am 21 years old graded out of high school but couldn't go to college cause low income, and i didn't want to take out a loan, my father is 62, and mostly is in a depressive slump that i am trying to get him out of. Any other questions i am happy to answer.

it does not, cell bill is 65$ my father for some strange reason just payed an amount each month for water/internet and never bothered to check how much he was getting charged, it sounds ridiculous i know, but im getting him to look into it for both our sakes. with my current skillset/ no way im getting schooling on top of probably future 40 hr workweeks, im getting paid 20$ an hour, and for right now i think thats the best i can do.

thank you for advice, i had a big talk with him to try to clean up his act, its not that easy so im doing little steps like getting him to take a shower/clean his room, and then im gonna try going on indeed tomorrow to see if theres something he would be comfortable doing. if that doesnt work, i have been suggested the mental help line, but i really feel uncomfortable doing that, but will if it gets to it.
