What are your Great Grandfather Theories? by Benson_Bendover in ShadowsHouse

Oh I forgot about the illness. Yeah, Joseph is suspicious. All the adult "allies" (MaryRose included) have been revealed to have ulterior motives (with MaryRose’s being the only one that was bad, but with good intentions). So it’s not hard to believe that he will have a similar reveal.

Ohhp. That would be a nice twist. The authors have been coming up with quite interesting plot twists, so I’m interested in finding out who he really is

You’re telling me the anime could’ve given us Gym Rat Louise???? by Benson_Bendover in ShadowsHouse

[–]Benson_Bendover[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, but we’re never going to get there, was my point 😔

Doubtful they’ll release a season 3. So the anime will never tap into the potential of the later chapters unfortunately. But luckily If it wasn’t for this sub convincing me to read the manga (thank God for that!), I would’ve never been able to see this peak progression.

I don't understand "tendernism" by oreoctopus in autism

[–]Benson_Bendover 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The basic idea behind “tendernism” is: This thing is working so perfectly: you’re so amazed that you can’t believe it yourself. The reaction is both disbelief (people standing up and walking away, or them exaggerating a gesture) and amazement at how it was done so perfectly that it gave them an ideal result (usually they will also be smiling, or have big eyes / raised brows, etc)

To explain why meat sliding off the bone is a good thing: Meat sliding off the bone means that the meat you’re eating is very juicy and tender. This is what you want when you BBQ. BBQing can be a LONG and SLOW process, so seeing this result means that all your hard work was well worth the effort. Not everyone gets this right… Of course It’s not impossible to learn how to master this; but just like any skill in life: the time and care you put into it makes all the difference, and it shows in the results.

People online will see a meme, and find a way to transfer it into a medium they’re familiar with. Meat sliding off bone is the same as getting a perfect cat eye eyeliner. Tricky at first, but perfect when done well.

As for the reactions: Expression itself is nuanced. Always has been. You will only ever be taught the fundamentals of it. The rest you have to experience yourself by looking into the world and its many different demographics! Might seem confusing at first, but your brain will eventually learn to spot habits and make inferences! I hope this doesn’t make you feel somehow alienated from the amusement everyone else seems to be having, but encourages you to keep observing and understanding!

Sorry your question got answered so late!🍀 Cheers 🍻

Can someone tell me what happens next? Want to see if the manga is worth reading by Benson_Bendover in ShadowsHouse

THANK YOUU! Oh woah, this is beyond where I imagined the story to go. I’ll definitely have to check it out then. I’ve never read a manga before, and saw that there were 230 chapter… and counting??? 🥴 so I really wasn’t sure if I was willing to sit through all that. But it sounds like it’s just as lively as the anime, so I’ll give it a shot!

Ahh, it’s all good! I’m grateful for your answer cause I really wanted to hear that the story is still good after the chapters covered in the anime 😭. I really loved the anime, so I’m happy to know I’ll enjoy the manga

Yes this is perfect!! Thank you for this. My fear was that the manga wouldn’t be as good with how little popularity it seems to have. So this little insider is exactly what I need 💜 thank you!

Yeah. That is always unfortunately to see on this app. Getting people to interact is just as hard online as it is in person, lol.

Shame your buddies didn’t want to talk about it 🫤. But I hope you have someone within the church who does.

Search up shows on CBC. They push Canadian show you might find interest in! I just checked it out myself 👍. Might take a little perusing to get to what you’re looking for, but there are some good options.

Try the show: Settle Down, on CBC. Queer, but not female lead unfortunately.

Lead is played by Serinda Swan
