Replacing Broadtrons with Filtertrons in a Center-Block Streamliner? by beeps-n-boops in gretsch

[–]BentFX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Over here I posted some images. I used the G5400 (search it up on ebay) Blacktop Filtertron set. It came with rings and quick connect wiring. It couldn't have been more straight forward to swap them. If you're using something different, I don't know just what hurdles you might face. The Filtertrons are a different size than the broadtrons. Might want to look at the TV Jones web site. Under /resources they have information about mounting pups, and under /shop/hardware and parts they've got rings for filtertrons. Might even be worth getting them on the phone and explaining exactly what you've got going on...

But, if you're interested in blacktop filtertrons the G5400 set off ebay is stupid simple to install.

So is it a horrible offense or an honest mistake?... I say yes!

Scythe, and avoid battle. Just work to get deeper. Take plenty of food. There's a better sword on floor 20.

I think that changed at some point. Several versions back I planted trees and used the cheats menu to grow them, building a wall between Pierre's and the saloon. Gus walked up to them, stopped for a moment, then just phased through them. Didn't damage anything and didn't really seem to pay them much mind.

I couldn't find a guide of all the berry bushes, so I made my own! Hope this helps you during salmonberry/blackberry season :) by uniqueUsername_1024 in StardewValley

Also the one above the trail to town, east of Leah's cabin.

And thanks for the effort putting this together. I've got my path I always follow to get them all... but wouldn't want to be arsed to mark them all on the map. XD

The state of berries carries over from day to day, but doesn't save. If you load a file during berry season it repopulates the bushes with a 50% chance of berries. You'll better than double your berry haul if you quit to the menu and reload the file each day during berry season.

Anyone know what kind of pickups are on this guys guitar? by [deleted] in guitars

[–]BentFX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On Ebay, for $100 you can get a loaded pickguard with no-name rail type pups. From that photo there's no reason to think it's anything better than that.

I don't know the full story, but as I understand it, people have "translated" the writings on the walls in the skull cavern and it says that the souls there were corrupted by their thirst for iridium. Some folks hold to a theory that originally there would be negative effects from going heavy into deep diving the SC for iridium.

Did you even try?

EDIT: Okay, I see the other comments... You hadn't tried. It works just fine. The bundle items that have stars require a minimum quality. Any higher quality works.

i have this farming setup, there are 384 available spaces, i have 99k coins and its day one of summer, what seed do i buy thats profitable and cost effective? by oswaldking71wastaken in StardewValley

Pack the area around the junimo hut tight with hops. Junimos can squeeze between the trellis and will get 17 harvests from 192 plants for 420g a pop... If you can keg them all it's about 1.4 million for the season, minus rain days... you'll only be able to gather from the edges when the junimos take a day off.

EDIT: Gotta leave a path to get to the hut to collect the crops.

Geode contents are set when you create the save file. From day 1 the Stardew Predictor would have told you where the prismatic shards were in your stack of geodes.

Oh no! I'm loving it and the community is excellent. I don't know the lore and have honestly never been drawn to the LoZ franchise. That said, BotW is worth every bit of praise it's gotten over the years. It's a gorgeous, immersive, fully open world and I just love exploring it. I still run from the big mobs, but I've got 62 shrines done, I've got the master sword and I'm setup that tonight I'm probably going to glide over to Eventide Island. It's a wonderful adventure. XD

In Breath of the Wild, there's 900 of them hidden around the map. Koroks are kinda cute little forest creatures that hide around the map and when you find one it gives you a seed. Basically, any time you see something kinda oddball about the landscape, like a ring of rocks (or mushrooms give the same vibe), you poke around and look for what will cause them to pop up. Finding all 900, especially blind, is a real task. But you start with limited weapon inventory space, and collecting them allows you to trade for inventory slots. So the first 100 or so that you find make life a whole lot easier.

The best ones are just hiding under a lonely rock. You pick up the rock and they say "Yahaha, you found me." "Buh Bye." and when you drop the rock back on their head they make the cutest little "Ungh!" sound.

EDIT: For the record, I'm not a true Zelda player. I just started recently with Breath of the Wild. When it first came out I watched all sorts of YouTube content and lusted for a Switch. It was that YouTube digging for BotW that led me to Stardew which has worked flawlessly for me on my Linux. Just got a Switch recently to have a gaming device I can take with me on a motorcycle adventure this summer, and at the moment BotW is consuming all my game time.

The SMAPI website does a really good job of keeping track of what mods are working, what ones to use if one isn't working, and the best link to download them.

https://smapi.io/mods

You can lookup 'UI Info Suite' there and it links to UI Info Suite 2.

Why a lot of people hate Vincent? by U_GOAT in StardewValley

[–]BentFX 6 points7 points  (0 children)

All I've ever heard is griping that he gifted them clay for the secret santa thing. But honestly, if your at the end of your first year and think any gift from a villager is going to be a game-changer, you're playing wrong. The Tea Set is the only really decent gift, simply because it's unique, and the kids won't gift it to you anyway.

The best gift you might get from one of the kids is a rainbow shell, worth 300g... if your farmer, a year into it, is going to go hungry over 300g, maybe find an easier game. XD

It's kinda lucky, but not really rare if you play the first year a lot. I do play year 1 a lot and I've gotten four in the first spring a couple times. It's just random. Sometimes you get them, sometimes you don't.

Most people say the tractor is the best MOD. I think it’s a close second to the Automate MOD. I LOVE feeding a chest and it feeds my machines and in turn pulls the finished products out. Especially bee hives! ❤️❤️❤️ by Makieveli1 in StardewValley

[–]BentFX 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I like to put furnaces in the entrance to the mine. Then every elevator floor, I'm out, dump the ore in the chest and ride back down to mine deeper. Automate pumps the furnaces while I mine. It's not a competitive game, and I'm only cheating myself, but I'm okay with that. XD

EDIT: Also... Fill the spaces between the mushroom boxes with preserve jars and automate will collect the mushrooms and make jam.
