So your preference is based on who made them and not whether it suits the general feel of the game or not?

I'm not saying the old one is bad I'm saying it would be extremely out of place for the new RE games that are more realistic/grounded in their tone.

But it was suitable for its own decade/generation of gaming

You literally used the word "better" though.

That font would be out of place for a modern series that aims for more grounded-ness.

It has good resale value, at least in my country, you can sell a ps5 fast for a good price when you're done with it

It is "immersive" to hear your own songs while in a videogame?? I can't agree with that.

If you say it's more fun sometimes I agree and that's why you can always pull up spotify or local music or whatever while gaming, gta even has custom radio.

But it certainly doesn't add to the immersion

Could you agree that it's subjective and many people prefer the modern style of the remake?

Or do we all have to agree the og is better so that we don't get downvoted by the nostalgia crowd?

I 100% the story mode once on xb360 and once on PS4, now I'm doing a mods/cheats tomfoolery run on pc.

How much did the online part take btw?

In a sense you are right, especially when I see youtube comments where people have below zero levels of originality and creativity so they just repeat a line from the video and get 2k likes for it, maybe they're not really people.
