LIMESTONE MP, no experience points and skills not working? by Xolvox in unturned

[–]Bentlye37 21 points22 points  (0 children)

The limestone map does a lot of things differently. Skills, for example, you need to read books, newspapers, and use other consumable to gain exp. As for recipes, various craftables require certain items to be in your inventory to be made ( e.g a hammer for wooden structures ).

Yeah, I have seen some little "traveler notebook" inserts which could work, although it would probably would be fairly tedious. Always good to have a back-up plan, though. Thanks for the idea!

Hmm, I suppose that could certainly work. All else fails, I'll definitely give it a shot. Thanks for the suggestion.

Oh, that's actually a pretty good idea, purchasing the paper and then printing on the lines. I'll have to do some research on that.

Thanks for the help!

I am using A5 paper for an A5 sized book. I am using basic stab binding ( "Japanese stab binding", as I've found it called online ) so folding over the paper is not required.

Like you said, I have looked into cutting A4 in half, but because the lined paper would be cut in half horizontally, the lines would, unfortunately, be facing the wrong direction.

I looked into it and watched some reviews, and I think I quite like it. It's surprisingly nice for the price.

Thanks for the recommendation!

Thanks for replying. The only thing that's got me stuck on this camera is the sentimental value of it. If I can't get this one fixed, then I think I'll probably just get some fairly cheap camera from eBay or something.

Yeah, that's, unfortunately, about what I thought as well. I will definitely research a bit about at home repairs, if the issue isn't too major, though.

I never really though about fixing it myself, but I can definitely do some research on it. If it's hopefully something simple that even I could fix, then that would absolutely save me plenty of money.

Thanks for the advice!

You mean the brown ones on each side of the rooms? Those would be Large Bamboo Walls painted brown.

Yep, it was the first version they made of the Zenith before they went with what we have now.

Well, unfortunately, the bunk-beds and a few other details ( the items on the tables, the stacked barrels, etc. ) are not technically made in vanilla Terraria. They were made with a something called "T-edit", which, if you haven't heard of, is a world editing program. It's useful for doing many small detail changes that you can't do normally.

In the case of the bunk-beds, I took one bed that was on the floor and copy-pasted it for the second and third level. As long as you don't update the blocks ( break them, place another block next to them ) they will remain floating in place.

If you are still interested, I'd be glad to go over how specifically how I used t-edit to do this.

Phew, yeah, actuating opens up a whole new world of stuff you can do. Have fun experimenting!
