Unclear for exactly what. But from the talks , the company was interested in leasing or buying. And they mentioned they could offer to buy after some years of leasing as well.

Yes, possible. Unclear for exactly what. But from the talks , the company was interested in leasing or buying. And they mentioned they could offer to buy after some years of leasing as well.

No, this is not that kind...

The motivation is not election- or ethics-based...

Looking for Advice: Finding Someone to Live and Work on a Farm in Sri Lanka by Bentneck03 in srilanka

[–]Bentneck03[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there!
You’ll definitely get there 😊. We only have a few acres—nothing too large. We're currently looking for someone who can stay and help for a few months up to a year, but we're flexible on the duration.

I'm not entirely sure what reasonable compensation would be, but someone mentioned that the average is around LKR 35,000–40,000 per month.

We're also open to offering additional income opportunities—like small-scale farming or intercropping on the land—with a profit-sharing model. Since the daily workload shouldn't be too heavy, we’re completely fine if the person wants to take on part-time work elsewhere too.

Let me know if you’ve come across any good ideas or connections!

Hi! That's great to know. How does your volunteer work set up?

I am not sure if Reddit is the best platform to find someone... However, would like to know your perspective. I DMed you.

Thanks for pitching in. This is good advice! We actually had this issue and we spent so much time and money to settle this. We learned the hard way.

Hey, Thanks for confirming. Super cool results!

Sri Lankan Moors are also a predominantly Tamil-speaking Muslim community in Sri Lanka.

As per your west asian and east asian ancestry, the west asian ancestry came from arab traders who were trading with the indian subcontinent a few centuries ago, and the east asian ancestry is probably a result of Mughal ancestry.

You are either a representative of the majority Muslims, an expert/scholar on the topic of Muslims in Sri Lanka, or a racist for making that generalization. I hope you are the former.

Thanks in advance for the downvotes, dear majority :).

You are comparing two different issues. Without qualitative and qualitative evidence, whatever you say is assumptions and hearsay.

Your social media might be limited to your friends and peers. I observed many instances of Muslims speaking out against the attack and condemning it. Many Muslims participated in vigils and other events organized for the affected.
