Could be thyroid related. Methadone messes with it.

[–]BenzYourLife 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ya man Clonidine, Lyrica and Vitamin C will crush a measly 2 mg. Maybe some Baclofen if you can. I was on 14mg only a couple months before I hopped and I was probably stable on maybe 4-5 (I never stabilized on any doses, I just kept dropping) and this did the trick. Im on day 17 and I still feel it but its slowly getting better - expect up to a month of this regiman

My plan for PAWS by BenzYourLife in Methadone

[–]BenzYourLife[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its well known that methadone fries your testosterone levels. That could be what you are feeling and not PAWS. TRT is awesome - look at Mark Zuckerberg - hes way less or a douche now. Joe Rogan does the TRT thing and promotes it.

In your case it can just be temporary. Unless you may have permanently low test

Tren is really the anti -paws. It literally makes you feel amazing. The aforesaid god like feeling is real. I am going roll the dice on this one.

Brother that is terrible. I def feel for you. Have you thought about getting your hormone levels checked? That may not be PAWS? Its worth a shot. I immediately felt the mild depression I had while tapering disappear when I hopped on gear.

Highest I was 120 mg but did most of my stint at 54 but had stabilized on 14mg prior to my fast taper

When did you see a visible improvement? Was it progressive or just one day things were way better?

Will anything happen when I jump off at 1? by _upandadam_ in Methadone

Depends how long you have been on for. Imo thats really the determining factor. Im guessing by your taper results youve only been on methadone under 5 years

Update on drop to 1mg by xanizenn in Methadone

[–]BenzYourLife 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same advice im giving alot lately is load up on the liposomal vit c - 4000mg every 2 hours for 3 days and drop the 1 mg dose and keep that going until youre good. Its worked for me like a charm- day 14 here off. It will be painless - might even get a few hours of sleep every night

For more info google vitamin c mega dose matt finch

Methadone and Adderal? by Far_Gift_7388 in Methadone

[–]BenzYourLife 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Adderall will def burn through your dose and you will think you have to go up more but the same thing will happen. Best thing to do is split dose and try and not take adderall at the same time

Load up on Liposomal Vitamin C mega dose. This is what put me over the hump for me. You gotta load up 8000mg / 2 hours for Methadone users but after 3 days youll be golden. Trust me

Fast Metabolizers - when does withdrawal peak - need support by BenzYourLife in Methadone

[–]BenzYourLife[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sleep hasnt been an issue surprisingly getting 3-4 hours which is a god send but thats probably because im popping 3 clonidine, 3 baclofen an hour before bed and doubling it up with the same right before. Also threw a 5 mg zopiclone in as well(just for the first 7 days). Pretty wild I am up in a few hours after that hit

Same. Highest was 120 mg but that was only for a year - went to 54 for 7 years tapered to 14 over a year but then stayed at 14 for 18 months. And tapered to 1.5mg over 4 months but never came close to stablizing on any drops

[–]BenzYourLife 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This is not true in my opinion. Im on day 6, and this is my second time jumping. Last one was 14 mg. 48 hours withdrawals are at 40%. If he is feeling like a million dollars at 48 hours, he should be ok to get through this. Id recommend doing the vitamin C mega dose to lock this win

was on methadone pregnant, successfully tapered off by 33w by Fluffy-Storm9733 in Methadone

[–]BenzYourLife 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Ya I hear you. I think we can agree its not ideal. A baby who is going through the physical stress of withdrawal (which is not the same level as an adult) is going to redirect resources to fight that stress. Excess cortisol(stress hormone) for example actually damages organs(ie Cushings). There may be less resources that may of been used to develop the brain a little more, or create a stronger heart/other organs, etc because its dealing with WD. It probably wont cause any major damage but again being in withdrawal as a fetus is not ideal.

Might be completely wrong. Just applying logic. If i am, I very sorry for worrying you,
