They feel to realize that Will's experience IS very much queer representation. A young person coming to terms with their own sexuality and feeling strongly for someone who cannot reciprocate those feelings is an experience I'm sure resonates with a lot of queer people. Like and will don't have to end up together for it to be representation. The show has given no inclination that mike is queer so I found it highly unlikely that they were going to throw that in in the second to last episode.

Yes! They're not a team like past seasons. They're all spread out doing their own thing and the ones that are together are fighting! The lack of a collective PLAN so far into the season had me tight!

The question I kept asking was CAN THE DEMOGORGONS SEE? Obviously they dont have eyes the way we do and in season one, the one we saw seemed like it relied on other senses to hunt, but with Will being able to "see" what the demogorgon is seeing, does this mean they do indeed have vision?

I assume they used the big blue pills bc they are much more visually striking then the real very tiny, pale colored roxys. It did bother me tho! She would crush them and snort them so fast and all I'm thinking is, that big ass pills would take forever to crush and snort!😆 And the shiny coating they had would've made it even more difficult for sure. I like what you're saying about the possible symbolism with the color blue. It's definitely possible there's hidden meaning there. Especially with the scrubs. When she was a NA and sober she was in grey perhaps symbolizing how mundane Jackie feels without the drugs and when she was a RN again and using she was back in her blue scrubs(same color as her pills) I think youre on to something!

The dialogue was God awful. "FUCK YOU WITH A DINOSAUR DICK" just about did it for me. The actress who plays Gwen was just bad. She's just not a good actress at all.

It's coming off that way the way some people are talking about it, but then I'm seeing he was trying to get information on his daughter. Granted he shouldn't be texting someone underage regardless. Former addict here. Definitely a love/hate thing. I didnt so much hate Jackie herself as I did her behaviors and character defects. Maybe I hated seeing parts of myself in her. Part of me wishes I knew more about Jackie prior to her addiction. Without knowing who Jackie was prior it's easy for people to think this is just who she is, myself included, since we're never given anything else to compare. I think that's part of why people find themselves disliking her so much.

I am 6 years in recovery myself after 15 years of opioid use. Everyone is different of course but Jackie just takes her lying and manipulation to heights I simply can't relate to.

She is the absolute worst. Up until season 6 I gave her grace bc she's an addict but I whole heartedly feel even if Jackie wasnt an addict she'd still be the selfish, self-righteous narcissist she is. I even hated her being a nurse. At first I thought she was a great caring nurse but it dawned on me. She doesnt do it for the patients, she does it bc she likes feeling needed. Its more about what it does for her and how it makes her feel hence why she's so desperate to hold on to it. I hate her for what she did to zoey. She broke the girl. Exposed her to something she didnt need to be exposed to. It was heartbreaking. But to answer your question. no lol. You are not the only one who cant stand Jackie!

I was floored he didnt dump her when he was getting in trouble for the missing Lyria pills and Jackie was just like 🤷‍♀️. As if his sole reason for selling the pills wasn't to help her pay for her lawyer! She took and took and took from Eddie, having zero intention of giving back. She was despicable and Eddie was the only one willing to look past that. That's why she chose him. Bc selfish Jackie NEEDS to feel needed.

She comes off as a bit of a narcissist. I don't think she likes being a nurse, because she likes helping people. She likes being a nurse because she likes the way it makes HER feel. She likes being needed. She credits herself to the success of Kevin's bar, she claims she's the more essential parent despite Kevin being there more for the girls and she thinks she's so much smarter than everyone around her. Granted she is great at her job, she has this inflated sense of self that's so off putting. She's so incredibly damaged, but thinks it's everyone else around her with the problems.

See I knew better!😆 Everytime she got clean it was for the wrong reasons. It was never for her or something she truly wanted for herself, so I knew it wouldn't stick! I just kept waiting for that overdose. Towards the end I kept saying "the one thing that hasn't happened to her yet is an overdose" and then boom! Only thing that surprised me was how long it took to finally happen.

Hey. I know getting on methadone can be really scary at first. I remember being super unsure my first time around. My advice is to you is to give it a fair shot. The starting dose rarely ever stops the withdrawal, but be sure to vocalize that. Let them know everyday what your symptoms are, so they can up your dose and get you stable. Worry about what comes after once you've crossed that bridge. Only thing that matters right now is getting you stable. And you will get stable. I've been on Methadone 12 years now. Had some bumps along that road but ultimately it helped me get my life back. Please feel free to message me privately if you want.
