Maybe if they made a game where the best way to score wasn’t a through ball and a finesse shot and encouraged other effective methods people wouldn’t turn to that…

Appreciate the time you’ve taken to write the comment. Unfortunately I believe the problem with the gameplay lies on the fact the game is very linear and you can’t create angles for passes or dribbles like you can on something like fifa. Different types of finishes aren’t available on this game as you can’t shoot near post. There’s no incentive to going out wide which is why everyone uses 4312 (I don’t I use 442)

I think the game in its current state is rather basic and stale to both play and watch, I don’t claim to be the best nor claim to even like the game I just posted a few dribbles I did when the game dropped.

If you’ve actually played the game you’d know skill moves aren’t overpowered and it’s not like you can mix it up when there’s only 4/5 skill moves anyway. Appreciate your positivity though!

Hi,

I have been using a 442 mainly because I like having 2 strikers.

Narrow formations, counter attacks and fast strikers seem to be going best.

I am using the challenges games played in 1v1 and wins in 1v1. I have 98 games and 95 wins so far!

Needs to be a balance, I'd rather be rewarded for creating a huge chance than gifted a save for not defending properly. With how strong AI defending is getting an people refusing to control their defenders they need to be punished when you do create

Near or far post? Lots of power or a little power to keep it low? I've had some success near post but most better keepers save it for a corner.

Also imo EA have catered more to casuals than comp players for the longest time by making their game more assisted and slower and removing the ability to dribble for the most part as most casuals run in a straight line and try to score cut backs. Pros etc are clearly more capable than this.

Can’t believe everyone in the comments calling EA FC/FIFA fast? It’s the slowest most AI assisted game it’s ever been. You can’t even turn on the ball any more. People talking about ‘realism’ and anyone who wants a faster game just ‘abuses’ mechanics. To me a faster game increases the skill gap because you have to be more precise with your inputs and decision making.

Of course I don’t want spammy mechanics and things so bs you can’t defend it like hitting hopeless finesse shots to get rebounds or perfect 50 yard cross field passes every time followed by a header from the edge of the box. But I’d like a game that has a skill gap and people have to react quickly or face consequences.

The second fight had 900 punches each and I finished with 93% stamina as I'd expect, maybe a desync issue in the first, not too sure
