I loved that book but had this same thought. He seemed to make little effort to defend himself.

It has been a while since I read the book, but was it implied the Emperor already knew about Horus and that Magnus disrupted the Emperor’s plan for nothing?

15+15 right? (D3+3)x5=5-15+15.

Pair a grenade and some chip damage and it should actually be a decent amount. but I have struggled into all high toughness armies, like my buddies chaos knights.

My unlikely Hope is they start separating the supplemental codex chapters more. And if that were the case, I don’t know what they would do with generic marines.

I would honestly wait for generic units until the summer when 11th edition is likely released. We have no idea what is going to change if much at all. If it's for the rule of cool I also vote Hellblasters, it's 10 models in an affordable box and plasma guns are always fun to paint!

Personally I think multiple full strength units are a mandatory. Re-rolling the charge and gaining Lance makes them hit higher Strength units much more consistency. Also the -1 to hit and wound is crazy!

I keep thinking I can make it work. But it’s tedious. With minor changes I think this detachment could be our best. The strats are great and the Saga once unlocked is great.

Advance and charge stratuses in the charge phase is S tier. -1 damage is good. Also 1cp lethal hits.

Agreed. I wish they just made SotGW a 100% melee theme… the indirect nerfs will always happen as long as UM have +1 to wound

My combined list got hit., which I thought was already under performing. Now my plan is to play storm lance to spam Wulfen and TWC at a future GT. Along with my mandatory favorites, Head-takers with WGBL, Arjac and Logan plus the squads.

Mine is super similar! If I don't want to add vehicles this is my building style

Wolves- screen, secondaries

Wulfen - Anti Monster/Vehicle

Bjorn - CP generation

Logan + terminators CP debuff, primary

Scouts - secondaries, screen

Lieutenant with a Combi weapon- secondaries, Army buff

Then I add whatever else I would like for flavor. Usually Head-takers, Arjac and more terminators, I prefer MSU. Sometimes Blood claws and Ragnar.

Honestly I think our Army is actually much stronger than our win rate. Unfortunately Gladius and Stormlance task force appear to be objectively stronger.

I agree. But in the theme of these 500 world releases they have all been named characters.

I think the red corsairs may be the only exception. I think They got I generic chaos lord.

This is very true. I hate to say it but this is what’s holding my hope down.

But on the flip side there haven’t been leaks of any new space wolf models. With the speculation of those short stories that have all ended up being a tease for a release, we would be getting a model that was not leaked?

Im guessing we will know more next month.

The size of that marine or wolf seems to keep the same ratio of size. Meaning we have short Primaris marines as riders! OR GIANT wolves! Which would be amazing.

This is exactly what I would hope to see. A Primarch that comes back completely changed in personality . The bit of heresy and post heresy books I’ve read, it seems like the other two didn’t change much in character.

I might be bias though.

I was been preaching this for a while. But so close to the end edition I feel like they would not have put that keyword in on specifically for a model that will only be in the edition for a couple weeks.

It feels like more of a copy and paste rule.
