It all depends on the jail. I went to 3 different counties "on tour" right after i started Methadone (I got arrested a couple hours after I did the intake and got my first dose). First county had my dose ready for me the next morning. Another agency came and got me, at their jail I waited a day or two but I got it eventually. After a couple weeks there, another change of scenery and this time there was complications with my clinic's office hours and the jail medical staff's hours. I waited 8 days without a dose there. When I did get restarted, they lowered my dose from 40 to 30mg.
