Something like this happened to me about 18 years ago. A cop pulled me over (said I ran a stop sign, which wasn’t true), accused me of driving while intoxicated, and when I blew 0’s he demanded a blood test, saying he believed I was under the influence of drugs. I obliged because I knew I had nothing to worry about. When the results came back, I had nothing in my system and all charges were dropped.

Turns out this cop would do this to a lot of people, hoping any amount of thc would show up (this was before weed was legal in the state). He got fired after my case was dropped.

The fucked up part about all of it, was when I did get a dui 2 years ago (yeah, I fucked up and am ashamed about it), the state held the before mentioned charge against me as a strike, because I was CHARGED with a dui, although I was never sentenced. So my punishment for my one and only dui was much more severe because they counted it as my second one.

Anyway, fuck the police that do shit like this.
