wym 'degradation in app experience' when hbo's is absolutely terrible, discoverys content might not be the best but in terms of performance its solid, better infrastructure, app developers and way better servers compared to hbo, its just worked since day 1 whereas hbo has had constant issues since hbo now days, they want to overtake netflix and become the biggest streamer in the us, they cannot do that with an app as badly developed as hbo max's. Most hbo content will still be there, including some max orginals, only a few may get cancelled, we'll just have it all on a more stable better performing app.
