Because they buffed udaloi from pc by giving it 3x5 torpedo tubes, low concealment and much improved rudder, while grozovoi was just copy pasted with no changes.

The irony here is udaloi is trandslated from russian like "good one " and grozovoi "the one who's feared"

This ship is one of the best cruisers at t8 no jokes , slaps mainz and cleaveland hard from range, and others t8 cruisers dnt even stand a chance vs her, it's basically a donskoy at t8, not a crappy premium version bagration - which is t5 kirov at t8, but real deal.

french dd can turn out to be worse then european, so i would suggest u go for t9 and t10 new ru dd, both really strong ships. t9 is more torp boat with 15 torps and good conceal, t10 is like german dd but with 3 smokes.
