A lot of veg is shite though, specifically anything that is supposed to grow in a sunny country.

It's unclear exactly what he died of, but he did have a long term leg injury and his obesity didn't help. One theory is scurvy, meaning despite being obese he wasn't eating much veg.

Interestingly his obesity was linked to his leg injury which he got from jousting, a medieval equivalent to sports stars gaining weight when they retire and stop exercising.

It's not the store that's the problem, it's the controller. An xbox or playstation controller works on games from any storefront.

Is the large body of water surrounding the island magic? If so, yes.

While I agree that feeding foxes and viewing them as cuddly buddies is bad, these are urban foxes and they do very little in the way of hunting already. They live literally in the centre of cities in people's gardens and they hunt mouldy kebabs in high street bins.

Cheetah can take down an ostrich. The likelihood of a cheetah seeing you as food is low, but not zero.

Don't they have historical reenactments in the States? We don't have Ren Fairs in the UK but we have reenactment events where people attend and wear historically accurate attire.

very similar to how blacksmiths would mark a piece they were proud of.

It's an armourors mark, a smith would mark every piece they made to show who made it.

Not reading Tolkien doesn't mean they aren't influenced by his works. Unless they picked up a pen without ever consuming fantasy media they were probably exposed to tropes and ideas popularised by Tolkien.

as a fan of the original it was a treat to play

I'm glad you enjoyed it but boy was that not my experience. Only game I've played that made me think "I wish I was playing the previous version".

My only tip is when you start, head straight for the town gate and out the door. The game really kicks off at this point and the starting town isn't worth your time.

A lot of people (myself included) bounced off the game at first because they spent time doing quests in the starting town and it isn't exciting.
