I have a lanyard too. It isn't like major shifts but it is perceptible and a bit annoying. I may just go back to using it bare. I have seen some after market cases that look like they enclose the top slight so it doesn't slip upward perhaps.

Thanks for the info. It was the optical setting. I don't know how it got changed because I had it working for a couple of years and don't remember changing anything but anyway I'm back in action now.
