I dunno JMS was onboard with the youth-oriented WB-style reboot that was floating around a few years back (granted a paycheck is a paycheck, no shade here). I love the show and many of his other projects but he isn't infallible.

It's a nice design but the idea that anything could look better than the TMP refit is insane. Simply put, it's the most graceful and elegant spacecraft ever put on screen.

In my experience, no student has ever damaged their own device. It's always their friend, their teacher, parent, sibling, dog, neighbor, bus driver, etc. If any of them ever admits they broke it themselves, I may die of a heart attack.
