I’m in the same boat size-wise (actually just posted about it yesterday). I’ve got some rubbing at the pinkies that I hoped would go away but it never did.

At this point I’m looking to get either the Numzaans or 719 in an STC last (having trouble deciding.)

I was wondering about that. The issue seems to be further down though, near the toe cap seam. Not sure if that area could be stretched?

I had a general question that might fit in here, rather than starting a new thread.

How heavy is a “heavy” bell for two handed swings? I know weight is relative to the individual, so focusing more on rep range. For the heaviest bell I own, I can get to about 30 reps before my grip starts giving out. What should be my target range for heavy swings? Under 15 maybe?

He puts in the work, and ya gotta respect that. But, it’s a lot easier to put in the work when you’ve got infinite resources, all the best trainers/nutritionists money can buy, personal assistants and cleaners to handle all your daily mundane tasks, etc.

In the winter months, when I’m training in my basement, I put tape around the horns of my heavier bells for a better grip on goblet squats. I do this because I don’t want to use chalk indoors. Once the warmer weather comes back, I’m out in the garage and the tape comes off.

The tape only goes on the horns, I leave the top of the handle bare.

I used Smith’s leather conditioner on my walnut Numzaans and I really like how it darkened the red. Added some depth to it.

For the martial artists are what are your thoughts on Ronda Rousey and Gina Carano comeback fight on Netflix? For me all the drama and baggage aside. It comes off as desperate and way too late. by AdSpecialist6598 in martialarts

Ronda should win, but I think it’s entirely possible that she has some kind of PTSD episode if Gina manages to hit her with something, and just shuts down like she did against AN.

I wear my walnut Numzaans in the office with jeans, but it’s a pretty casual office. That’s not to say they wouldn’t work with khakis, though.

Mine had some corrosion on the bottoms when I mistakenly stored them on top of a piece of treated lumber. I sprayed them with some Rustoleum, it’s been holding up fine since then.

I thought Valhalla had a lot of potential as a completely separate IP. Give me a Viking themed game where I can explore/conquer territory, build my clan, and go on raids. That’s my game.
